It starts at 12:59 EST, same time as CC's freeroll. It satellites into a $1 entry game. What this was doing under the private tab, I don't know. BTW, why would anyone create HEROS when you have HORSE? Like it's not tricky enough sometimes when Razz becomes Stud? :p

It's under private because there's added money involved. HEROS mixes up the stud rounds so people don't sit out as much.

there is another one that starts in about 40 minutes. It will begin registering in about 30 so have to keep your eyes peeled.

hmm good idea
I never really wanted to buy anything from the FTP store anyways -_-
48 max entrants though? Considering those 2700 people freerolls fill up in 10 seconds I don't think I will every get in one of these but if its in the private section maybe the freerollers won't know where to find it / wont have any FTPS to play.

Thanks for the post.

Well there's added money in the freerolls too. What's the diff? Not sure why they'd care about people sitting out, but I'll take your word. You sit out 2 out of 5 hands in a tourney though, you're not gonna last too long. :p

This tourney is meant for people on the Fulltilt forum - not just anyone using the client.

The HORSE > HEROS change was made precisely because of the reason I stated. Whether or not it's actually a good idea to sit out during those rounds is player dependent.

But really, there's nothing to stop anyone from signing in, regardless of who it's meant for. Player dependent. LOL. True I guess. :p

I understand the rationale for HEROS in cash game setting, but not really for tourney.

Same here. But TBH, I don't know why anyone would sit out both studs. Just play 'HA' (Holdem/Omaha) or something. As I said before, you cn't win by sitting out 2 of 5 hands.

Wasn't there a password?

Hey! I thought this thread was locked!? Anyway, I seem to recall that there was not a password. Even though it was meant to be for the FT forum, I think I tried to sign up, and it let me. But not 100% sure, so could be wrong. It started almost the same time as our freeroll, and I didn't feel like playing both. I'll look for it again tomorrow.

Hey, I posted an inquiry yesterday in the FT forum, and TilterRick, the site admin responded:

"It was a satellite I created for the Forum Weekly. I will try to do the same thing tomorrow if I am around. By the way, the password was the same as the weekly."

"If I am around"? Sheesh. And some other guy, a regular there, also replied:

"The $1 tourney is held every week on Saturday. You can find the password in a sticky in the General Questions section of the forum.

The satty games are when Rick puts them in as he said."
==================================================
So I went and found the password easily enough. But it's open to anyone with an acct there. Obviously you need an acct to play anything, so not sure if that makes it 'private' or not. I wouldn't think so.

hi how can I get it to pass the ftp

Can't post the link here, so...Go to the normal FT lobby, and click on Lobby, in the upper left. Then click on FT Forums, and it will take you to their web forum. Click on 'General Discussion' at the top. Then find the sticky entitled "How can I play forum tournaments?". The passwords are there.

Okay, looks like they're doing it a little different this time. Just 1 FTP and it's a $100 tourney, and it's NLHE. It's still just 800, a little better than 2700 - and a longish payout structure. Password is always the same for this. It's really open to everyone even though it's in the private section. Seems like quite a few others here have found it.
