I have cashed out successfully at Felt Stars. They were not as swift to pay out as some sites, but there was no real problem.

Well I got pretty screwed on this transfer. I was in the middle of an $8,500 gtd tournament which I paid $60 to get into when reefer went down. There were 11 people left it paid through 10th and I was 4th in chips. Searching on the internet I've found out that they knew this would happen as they had already purchased Reefer. They let me register for my tournament anyways. They gave us players no warning whatsoever. I had a good shot at first which was $2,700. What are they gonna do about it? Let me blind out and say that's my pay? As per they're policy when tournaments are shut down they split the prize pool 50% equally to all remaining players and 50% according to stack size. They better at least apply this cancelation policy to my account or I'm gonna be really po'd. Now for 2 days I have had no clue if I'm getting paid at all. They could have at least gave the player base a little warning that reefer poker was switching over and stopped us from registering in tournaments. If a Feltstars rep reads this I would really like to know whats going to happen to me as far as pay goes. I've spent a lot of money in online poker and it's been months since a descent cash and when I finally make it there this happens. I will let you guys know after Reefer/Feltstars goes back up if they made it right or not.

Ya I sent several emails to support@feltstars.com to no reply. I did finally get a reply when I emailed admin@feltstars.com and they told me if I was in a tournament when reefer shut down I would be refunded. what "refunded" means to them I am not sure because if they just refund my buy in I get majorly screwed. If they use the cancellation policy and split me off my share of the prize pool I will let you guys know. Just giving me my buy in back would be like buying into the wsop then giving you your buy in back when you were down to 30 people. I know it would be a lot more money and such I'm just trying to give an example of how deep I was in the tourney. I was 3 hours into it and over 90% of the field was gone.

I would email them again, and ask if they are going to give you a share of the prize money. Tell them that you we're down to 11 players, and were ranked 4th in chips. It would work better if you had/have a screenshot.

I hope everything works out.

they can check the records and see that i was in it and had x amount of chips when it went down. anyone could probably see me if they check the finished $8,500 gtd with $60 buy in from 2 days ago. I'm pretty sure I placed in the money after blinding out but don't want to check because I want my rightfull share which would be the prize pool being split as per they're policy. 50% to all remaining players equally 50% based on stack size. Thanks for the help man. Hope this didn't happen to anyone else on such a large prize pool. If a Feltstars rep reads this please reply and let me and other players who were in a mtt when it went down know whats going to happen as far as our pay.

I don't know if that tourney was accessible from any merge site like carbon, feltstars, gr88, etc, but if it was then that tourney continued on without you bud and anyone who registered for it from reefer got timed out then blinded out.

This is the reason I do not as well, I happened to cash in an ofc and got stuck with money there, but will not be heart broken if it is gone.

Ya it did go on without me I saw it on another site but I want the money thats owed to me. We will see if felt stars is a fair site by what they do here. If they are honest they will split the prize pool as per the reefer poker cancelation policy which is what I was on when it happened. I dont know felt stars rules but I was on reefer poker.

What place did you finish? They never paid you for finishing in that spot?

I cant even get into my account to look at my balance but I saw that I blinded out into 9th through another site which paid $255 but that's not enough for me. I want the money that is owed. I would have done a hell of a lot better if I was able to play. I was 4th in chips when it went down. I would have made at least $875 for 5th probably top 3. They need to apply the cancellation policy that reefer uses where the prize pool is split from the time of disconnection to remaining players 50% equally 50% based on stack size. I did the math and it's $800-$900 bucks. If they don't make this right I will never do anymore business with them and I'll let everyone know how they scammed me as well. I was on Reefer poker when this happened and had no clue about the merger. They need to use reefer pokers policy on this. I think it might be a merge policy anyways.

I can't fcking believe they even let me register for this tourney knowing they were shutting the damn site down. They also have different deposit/withdraw methods. Reefer could have at least warned the players so we could get our money out. This whoel thing is a bunch of bs and if I don't see it make right I will scream bloody murder all over every forum that poker players go too. As of now I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and I'll wait and see what happens when the reefer accounts go back up. Maybe they didn't know it would shut down before the tournament ended IDK but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt for now.

I posted here the other day that reefer and feltstars was merging, and to write down your balances,so you know what you had at each site.
Plus you would have known, not to be playing at either site,in case they go down, which happened to you.It pays to check the forum.knowledge is power!

Actually, everyone should write down your balances at every site you have money at ,on the 1st of every month.Keep a notebook just for this purpose.!....once a week would even be better,we never know when a poker site might disappear these days.

feltstars and reefer are owned by the same company, so it should be a smooth, albeit a bit slow of a transition.

We will see how honest feltstars is after this is all over with

So does that mean they will apply the same cancellation policy that reefer did the night before when one of my tourneys was shut down? They split the prize pool on that one. If they split the prize pool from when there were 11 people left and i was 4th in chips when i got shut out I will be cool with that. Otherwise if they just let me blind out and say that's my pay I'll consider that a scam since they gave no warning and let me join the tourney anyways. Guess we will see how honest felt stars is by how they treat the players that were in a tourney when they shut reefer down. If they split the prize pool for everyone based on players left and chip stack I'd say that's fair although it sucks it's still fair. If they just let us blind out and say too bad well then I'd say that's a scam. They should have warned players not to join tourneys as they were shutting down. Don't know why they didn't just do that.

I did and admin replied quick to questions about the cashier but as to my question about what they mean by refund, they have yet to reply.

Honestly, I don't know what possesses people to play at sites like these... There are so many larger, more dependable sites to play at.
