Madness begins.

Guess you never took that break.

I did, I took all yesterday and most of today off.

I made sure I was of sound mind to play before engaging by playing 0.01/0.02 at pokerstars (just to get back the 0.50 I needed to get to $22 so I can play a couple of $10+1 deepstack touneys on the weekends).

I am fairly confident that I am playing well now, no more tilt unlike the other night when I lost 10x buy in. If you don't believe me I can sent you the 578 hands I played today, you can review them in PT and tell me what you think. Anyone interested in doing that?

But, it doesn't matter. I can't win a pot so I am willing to gamble my remaining money as an experiment.

Give your preditions:
how long will $32.65 last at $0.05/$0.10 PL holdem ($10PL) given the following parameters:
1. I will buy in for the max ($10 or 100 x the bb).
2. Raise and re raise prflop all pairs QQ and up, pot bet all the way to the river w over pair, check call down otherwise.
3. Play every suited pockets for any bet/raise, call any bet w the flush draw all the way to the river; check fold if no fl draw; I will alway rebuy to max amount (if br possible); check raise the flush if made. If made on the river, lead out for pot/stack.
4. Call any raise preflop w any pair lower than QQ, set mine only: no set, no more money goes in the pot.

If I make it to $100 I will abort and start playing "normal" again...

Now that you've defined your criteria... I'll say you make it about 300 hands, maybe 350.

No, I assure you, that's just variance.:D

I agree with turtle guy, it's just variance. When it goes good, it goes real good, and when it goes to crap... it goes to crap. Suck it up soldier.

I played 100 hands of "donk" poker.
I don't think I can go on, it's too painful. Lost approx 100bb, so if you voted around 300 hands you would probably be right.
But I just can't bring myself to play like that anymore...

I cheated, I got the answer then voted.

However, it was a "trick answer" (like a trick question). The true correct answer is, of course, the last one...
