Expanded Stars Chat.

For a long time I disliked the Stars chat. With a little window it just wasn't fun to have games with our friends here at cc.
Then I found this;


Clicking that icon produces a condensed version of the option page (same as clicking the chips) but on my version I get an option for "Detachable Controls (Beta)". Choosing and clicking that gives me this window;

which can be played with to provide this;

I am not so sure everyone has this feature, if you do, or do not and would tell me I will say ty in advance.

It does seem to mess with my PT3 HUD, as my HUD will migrate to this open window and leave my table. Really screwed with me till I figured out what was happening, and now I may even like it as my table seems uncluttered.

And it solves the previously unfriendly nature of the Stars chat.

Neat feature, DJ. I do like that feature and use it on bodog, but I haven't noticed it on stars, however I am not the most observant person at times.
I will def. check it out when I get home later and let you know.

I checked the options and don't see that option listed anywhere. I don't recognize the theme you have there, maybe it's theme dependent (I use hyper simple)? Or are you using some special beta/country specific client?

Try ctrl+2 when the window is active. I've had this feature for several months now.

thanks for the heads up i also have the same theme so souldent be 2 hard to find lol!! glad u told me this i also h8 that chat box on stars

It is about time. I think I will try this. Nothing was more anoying than the small little window on PS.

Yup, that works, didn't know that was there...

I've been using this for months. It's been in beta for like ever. The only problem I have with it is that you can't go back to far in the conversion. It erases it after so long.
It's not like FT were you can go back to the beginning.
