I am currently trying to play through an amount of tournament hands on Everest to gain 'free' tournament indicator software so that I can track my M in play easily.

I find the site to be very poor, the lobby is poor and the standard of play isn't great, mind you I am doing this on micro sngs.

I was just wondering what others felt about the site.

very slow on mtt and s&g games.play is very unpredictable. the only saveing grace is the dealer. the cards are more random . so bad beats are not so common, so the best hand get to win more hands...........joker131

Been playing a bit there don't like their software either, and they don't have much overlay..... I like tournaments with overlay :D , players seems a bit tight, many from south europe (french, spain etc.).

I got a letter from them recently saying they would make more Guaranteed Tournaments, so I will check them out for ........ overlay :D .

I play 10NL there.. The software is bad, the play is worse and the action is very loose.... Players are totally unpredictable,so tight solid play is rewarding.

French, Italian, Greek and Cyprus players tend to like top pair hands a lot and they can call your all-in with only top pair. Bluffs don't work because they won't fold a draw or middle pair when you cbet...

Some people fold middle pair to second barrel , but you never know. I've seen people calling me down with bottom pair and the same people folding middle pair to second barrel and showing me their middle pair...

I've made money there by playing very tight and folding every time someone raises me on the flop or turn. I believe them because more than 80% of those players will raise only with a set or better.

I think I will play the hands required for the software then leave it alone.

Thanks for your replies, I do like trying other sites, but keep coming back to the bigger ones.

Yeah I also play here sometimes. I started my online poker career here. Very good room to study poker. The software is pretty old but good. It's cool that they drop out sitouters from freerolls after 5 mins.

I have been playing the most passive I can (to get the software you need to see 900 flopped hands) and ended up winning twice.

I can't believe it 9 man SNG $0.04 buy in :)

I see every flop and fold every post flop raise, I think this is more successful than my normal style...that's bad :(
