So title says it all. I've been banned with pokerstars for nine months now; being the fact I played underage gaming for about a month as well as lying about my mother having a gambling addiction to cover the fact that I played underage.

The reason why I want to return is because of their large payouts on the MTT's. I was origianlly going to wait 3 years- but soon to be, I'm going to be moving out and living elsewhere. This was one of the problems I had with support. If I lived somewhere else, they'll re-think on their decision on the bouts of me returning. Bear in mind that, they said this before them realizing I was underage.

The question I want to ask you guys today is, should I ask now, or wait later? Knowing the fact that most of you guys are haters and are glad that I'm banned. But please note, I didn't cheat nor multi-accounted while I was there. In fact, I only played underage gaming just above month- as I stated in first paragraph/ structure.

Of course you can ask them to play there again, but they are under no obligation to do so. I actually don't think they will let you back in but here's some advice anyway when you do ask them.

One, be polite. No entitlement, don't say you deserve to be let back because you are now over the age of 18.

I see no reason why you should wait two more years. Either they will let you or they won't. If they say no now the probably won't say yes in three years. Best of luck.

I don't get the fact most of us are haters and are glad you're banned.
My experience actually most people here are no haters at all.

Now to topic....playing underaged is not allowed...simple fact, so there's reason for stars to not let you play.

Now, when turning 18 I don't think they'll see anymore reason to not let you play.
Tho, I'm not sure about their policy right now.

What I do know however, is about a dutch player (few years ago) who won a huge sum (I believe about 600K) in a tournament, where first place was also rewarded a Lamborghini.
As far as I remember, this player was denied his prizemoney because of having played underaged, while also having lied about his date of birth while opening his account.
Later the guy's father stated he played instead of his son, but...that's not allowed either.

This mentioned player however, is not underaged anymore and I know he plays at stars again with the exact same screenname.
I do know this because I coincidentally saw him win a few hundred dollars in a large freeroll.

This actually means, he was not able to play while still being underaged, but was allowed to continue playing as soon as he was not underaged anymore.

So, I would very politely ask stars to release your account.

I def played underage my self on a few sites back in the day, then when I was on pokerstars I probably had 9 accounts.... they emailed me a while back and said I can only have 1 account, and I said OK.

Maybe they have gotten much stricter, or maybe the person was pretty chill.

Either way I would just ask nicely and I think you will be ok.

Something I've should of mentioned. I got banned after I turned legal, 18. I'm soon to be 19 in a couple of weeks. I also created an account with full tilt after I became legally, however, PS banned me on their as well.

How did pokerstars find out you played underage?

Hmmm...just saw that other thread....nothing you can do I'm afraid.
To be honest , after reading some posts,I can also understand the reasons behind it.

I'm moving to Florida soon to attend Full Sail. I'm currently living in Toronto and the age is 18 to play. Are the online age requirements the same in the us?

did this fall through? If not why the hurry to get back on stars that will no longer be available when you move to florida. DO you time at college play on bovada then when you graduate say that you obeyed their ban for 3 years and would like them to reconsider the ban.

Not yet. I'm suppose to go in January, but might instead go to lA film school.

PS is banned to all US players, unless they can find away to get in the US.

Yes I know. But I want to return for the five to six months I have left, and if I don't go, I obviously want to continue playing.

I feel bad for you, but I mean, it's your own fault, if you are playing underage at least ask your mom and play with your mom's details..

Ask a question:
If you are going to cashout from stars, How are you going to provide an authentic photo ID?

If that is not a problem, Phil Ivey is your example [it was a very bad example indeed, but Phil Ivey went to Casino underage as well, not recommend you do that], good luck.
If that is a big issue, ...the only option, here no 2nd option, is to wait untill you reach that age.

anyway good luck.

Just coming back to add a side-note. I mean kinda sucks now that you got banned already...but you do know you can change your birthdate under your account tab on stars? I mean yea I am sure it would look fishy. But oh well lol.

It`s pretty sure that 10% of pokerstars players are underage. This is the reason some countries ban pokerstars/FTP.
