This from them this morning......

Dear James

We regrettably inform you that DreamPoker will no longer be available
to players in the U.S after 30 May 2007.

If you are a depositing DreamPoker player, we kindly ask you to please
withdraw or play out any/all funds
you may have in your DreamPoker account before 00:00 EST, 30 May 2007
as we are locking all U.S. player
accounts thereafter.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact
DreamPoker support.

Please feel free to play on our freeware

Thank you for your support and good luck for the future.

Does anyone know if the other sites on this network have similar plans or is this just Dream?

So they send an email out 6 days before they plan to lock out all US accounts. Hope nobody is on holidays or doesnt check their email regularly.

Surprisingly, I got a similar email about Dream Poker but it was from Pokertime (remember them?) stating that they still accept U.S. players. Maybe I should revisit them or they are lying?

The only way Dream Poker and Pokertime are connected is in that they are both on the Prima network (which sucks IMHO). So yes, it's entirely possible that Pokertime still accepts US players.

... unless you are from one of the "dreaded 11" states. Both these sites booted people from Illinois some time ago ...:(

Pokertime just announced they will be "welcoming all US players to their tables" I might download - tho I too never really cared for the Prima sites - but won't be depositing till it looks like they really are going to stay in the entire US market

Been a long time since I played a Prima site as I'm from Illinois - is Dream just a poker room or do they have Casino and Sportsbook?

I expect many Sportsbook/Casino sites will be spinning off poker room only sites in anticipation of possible US legislation.

Man so its true! This sucks

Looks Like I'll be playing rounders damn near 24/7 up until the 29th trying to milk what little I can before I make that full withdraw.

I didn't even get that deadline email, I got that same pokertime email. Oh well, looks like its time to start my journey at stars

I withdrew my funds awhile back (doing the build a bankroll from zero challenge, but thats a tale of woe for another thread) I like the big freerolls so I switched to Crazy Poker. I play late at night mostly so $1000 MTT at 1am fits with my schedule nicely.

man I misread the time which they were locking accounts, now my account is locked. I just spoke with them and they said they'll be emailing me within the week on how to obtain my funds, but my thing is I'm gonna lose my rounders tokens, I had enough for round 5 and didnt even get to play it. I wouldve played it if I read the time the lock was going to happen right. hopefully they can transfer my tokens to pokertime, if not than oh well I'll just to restart rounders from the beginning
