So does that mean it has gotten better. I have never deposited on this site but I played their freerolls and it was like i was playing a table full of bots

About time. Doyle hasn't been associated with the site for a long time, and did not speak very highly of the operation. I'm guessing they still had rights to use his name for some time, and there was nothing he could do about it. You could tell he was unhappy about it, I follow his twitter and he was getting constantly hammered by people complaining about the site that thought he was running it or had some control over its operation.

I actually had a bit of fun on the 'old Doyles' back in '07. It was one of the sites I used to learn the game .... on the cheap. (they had 10cent sng's, & rake was only 10% (1cent)). Then they had the software update on microgaming network which was great! (I actually liked that software.. still playing on it today on 32red). Eventually moved from the 10c sng's to playing 10nl & 20nl ring games, initially so that I could qualify to play the 'rake-required' freerolls on the site (some were $500, had ~350-450 entrants, with a variety of games. I used to make a point of playing the 7stud ones & had a few final tables in them).
A $2 NewYear's Freeroll win, translated into a $400 bankroll on there! (but mostly, a site where I was able to play a bit of volume while getting my feet wet, all risk free (no $'s invested). I used to regularly recommend it to my friends who were getting started playing online poker. (many would play on there as well as Stars/FTP, using Doyles to mess around because of the low buyin SNG's, which actually had better play in them then the $1's & $2's on Stars/FTP). You could do p2p transfers too!

Then they moved to 'Cake'... nuff said :(
Had a ton of screw-ups during the short period I continued to play on there, finally packing it in after the site kept freezing on me while on the bubble of a $50mtt.

From what I heard they merged two sites. Possibility of more people? Doyles only had around 800 people on a daily basis, if they could manage 9-12k people with easier depositing withdrawing methods the place would explode

The old $27.50 bounty games were fun. I could usually get ITM but I never got a bounty or ever had a bounty at one of my tables. I never play games that expensive online LOL, but once in a while that was a fun MTT. Some dude I chat with on another forum knocked out one of the 1K bounties. I think it was TOdd B went all in and he said 5 people all went all in and that gy hit a river straight to bounty out Todd. BTW Ya think it was really doyle, todd, and the russian chick, or caro playing in this for real every weds

Havent really played on this new site

Good question DanAbs. Was it the 'real' Doyle, playin' in the Doyle?? (good question for that guy's interview with Doyle, lol)
