Looks like they put a little Omaha/bingo influence into NLHE. Gotta keep the gamblers happy I suppose. Personally I don't play PP, but if I did I wouldn't play this.

looks like it would just increase bad beats and everyone would probably chase because no one would really know what hands are good in what situation. i dont see it being to profitable. But it looks interesting if you were just looking to play for fun.

What you just described sounds like a super profitable game, once you figure it out ahead of the competition.

Will read now.

Seems cool. I have been emailing some of the poker sites and trying to get them to add Pineapple and no one seems interested.

I don't think PP is for USA so I doubt I will be able to try this out.

You are using your two hole cards twice with any of the five cards on the board. This is nothing like Omaha where you must use your two hole cards with three board cards. I can see where people would confuse this with Omaha though cause of the extra card

I actually signed up for a play money account just to check this out. I like it a lot and hopefully it will be coming to a US friendly site.

alright, best hand, for sure, it would be AAK with AKs. very playable hands are suited connectors, ex:KhQhJs. 9TJ with 2 of them suited.

+1

If you have a hand like A77 suits you want to make sure that your point card is one of the 7s so that you end up with 77 and A7 as your two hands otherwise you will have two hands that are A7 nd this is obviously not as good. Also if you have suits to the Ace be sure to pick the suited 7 so that you will have A7s and 77 for your two best hands.

The beauty of it is that you get to pick your point card after the flop and before you bet the flop so you can really setup your options. What may not have looked like a good hanjd pre flop can become a scoop for both pots after the flop.

At the casino I play at they been offering this game for a while. I've stayed away from it only because they must make more money on it. Haven't really looked at it but maybe be I'll re-visit and take a good look at it.

I dont know nick I have played it a bit an for a person that has poker skill there is an added skill here in that once the flop comes you have to decide which point card is gonna help you out the most.

I think over time there is a potential to win here.

I can only play with the play chips so it's always bingo in there. but I was playing Uber TAG the other day and was making progress.

They also have the limit flavor which I think i like better.

That game seems really complicated, lol.
I suppose if you play it enough you could get used to it.

To me if you don't have a 3 card hand that will make two powerful hands you should fold it pre flop. If the flop hits in your favor then picking the correct point card becomes the challenge. Since I cant play for cash i am not sure I will ever grasp all of the needed skills though.

The only site I ever knew to have pineapple was UB, not sure if they do anymore.
