Hey,

Over the last year or so since I started to play online poker I've signed up to a load of different rooms. Now I want to take it a bit more seriously and want to use Poker Tracker and get rakeback, thing is I don't know what room to use that will give me what I want.

I've singed up to:
Full Tilt
Power Poker
Titan
party poker
Paddy Power
Ultimate Bet
Carbon Poker
PKR

So I can't get rakeback off any of them. I've signed up for rakeback from powerpoker but that doesn't allow Poker Tracker.

I play NLHE cash games at 10NL or sit n goes $2 or $5 buy in. Obviously I would like a room with nice soft competition! I'm not in the US so that isn't a problem.

Any ideas or help would be great.

Thanks,
Pete

Yeah - I read that on here too, I tried it but appearently I signed up through an affiliate and there is no way they will give me rakeback now. :(

I started an account at FullTilt two years ago, and I asked for rakeback a week ago through rakebackpros, and I got it the same day. It's definetly possible to get rakeback, as long as you don't already have an affiliate.

i can absolutely recommend full tilt with rakeback, in my opinion there's no better room for beginners and best to collect FTPs...

This is what full tilt said to me when i enquired about getting rakeback:

Thanks for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

You?ve asked about the possibility of receiving rakeback but at this time, Full Tilt Poker does not offer rakeback directly to players.

There are a number of affiliate companies which offer rakeback if players sign up to Full Tilt Poker through their website. However, it appears that you were referred to Full Tilt Poker from an affiliate which does not offer rakeback. We are unable to switch your account from this affiliate to another, as our agreement with affiliates prohibits this.

We understand that you are interested in such promotions in the future and if the situation changes, our players will be the first to know and we will contact you when we have more news.

So I need another option! any ideas?

cheers,
pete

I received the same reply pete_neon.

I signed up to FT via cc after googling for poker forums. Created an account (and deposited) and then started to read the forums and learn about rakeback!

Ah well

Wouldn't pokerstars be your best option. I didn't see it on the list of sites that you have signed up on, so just deposit into pokerstars on a 3rd party rakeback site.

Unfortunately PS don't offer rakeback through any affiliates (as far as I can see anyway!)

After some more research I think Paradise Poker may be my best bet, they are on the boss network. Poker Tracker covers that and I can get rakeback.

I've read a few reviews - here and elsewhere and they seem to be a decent poker room. Does anyone have any views on Paradise Poker? good/bad? or any other advice?

Cheers,
Pete

Doesn't say anything about how much you have to deposit to claim rakeback - I'd presume you would just have to do a min deposit, whatever that is. I plan on depositing my current bankroll anyway when I do the switch which is about 200 dollars.

Some will give you rakeback if your account is already created-some won't I know FT will- just email the sites you want to stick with and they'll tell you. When you email FT tell them you'll use rakebackpros and you'll get it-I did.

Players Only might be a good choice. Pretty soft competition and you can get a relatively high rakeback rate there.

Players Only is nice because there are a lot of players there playing poker with their sports betting winnings. That is to say, the play is very soft.

My buddy deposited 100$ on there a couple of weeks ago, and in 3 days he had flipped it to $6500 (one big MTT win and the rest from 100NL HU ring)

What network is that on? Can I use Poker tracker with that room?

Meh you've already signed up to the best ones aside from Stars, which doesn't offer rakeback.

Maybe Cake Poker? I have difficulty recommending a site called 'Cake Poker' and haven't played there myself, but I've seen it recommended as a Stars/Tilt alternative many times before.

Having played at FT, partypoker and now Pokerstars i'm finding stars the most enjoyable. Not sure if this is because there are the most fish there, or if i'm just simply enjoying playing there more.

FT has the best software without a doubt and has rakeback, but is harder to build a bankroll on. Stars software isn't as good, but is easier to build a bankroll on in my opinion.

All down to personal preference though really.
