Hi just wondering what are people views on the heads up sit and go games availible on most sites, where its just basically double ur money depending what level your playing at.I personally think the lowest limit ($5.50) at absolute poker (where i got a freebankroll) are fairly easy ive won 4 out of the last 5 ive played including a suckout on the river in 1 game but thats what happens in poker.

So what does everyone think about these games anyone had any real sucsess.

I dont play them that much, i imagine it would be harder to make a profit in the long run because you only win double your buyin.
But, if you are a good heads up player then there well worth it.
As for me though, i am terrible heads up. lol!

I like them, i play them on full tilt all the time. A lot of players go there to just throw away money it seems like and Heads up is where im strongest... I wouldnt recommend just playing those though, but playing one every once in awhile is a good way to get some quick cash...

Heads up games are great practice for when you are in that game in the big tourney you finally made it to. Playing heads up is a totally different beast then playing any other card game types. It's not so much as what you have but how you play it. Being extremely aggressive usually wins here. And IMHO, most people need practice for that.

I was just going to make a topic about this. I've been playing heads up a lot in the last month. I still play SNG's, and Heads Up has really helped me in those. I used to really be lousy heads up, but playing in the Heads Up games has helped tremendously. I've played 68 Heads Up games in the last month, with a 63.2% win rate. It has helped me in SNG's, because I seem to finish first more than I used to.
I always considered Heads Up a coinflip, but it really isnt. Those of you that are weak at Heads Up should give the low buy-in games at Stars a try. It's helped my game a lot.

Heads up is my strong point.

You have to be careful for the ALL-IN every hand guy though. You can catch A-K and he'll have 3-7 offsuit but low-behold he'll catch trip 3's and you won't catch a damn card.

I don't play a lot of heads up but I think I'd do fine in a tourney or sng.

Love heads-up. Playing or watching. You're in every hand, so you can get into a nice focussed zone. Push hard on the button and watch your stack grow.

I often watch the highrollers playing heads up. Riveting stuff.

At PS, I play the 4 player double shooters at the low limits ($5,19) now and then. It's an amiable time passer, and a good quadruple on yer money when u win.
