I'm thinking about online poker, I'm not going in a round where I'm 2/3 in hand, here comes the card and it appears 3-3-2 and you wonder why I did not play this part? enters for you AA, you bet and think that you will win, your opponent goes with 7/8 and fafaz 2 pairs and wins from you. and so, should I rely on poke online.

If there is a possibility that the event will occur, then from time to time it will occur. But not always.

Weird things happen from time to time in poker, but thats normal, and you see it a lot more online then live because you play a lot more hands online.
Exactly! It's completely normal to run into magic hands that either crush you on the River or gives you tue nuts. It's very common. Just look at some of those crazy wsop hands (quad aces vs. Royal flush etc.)

It's a game of percentages. And over time, you'll get exactly what they give you. Doesn't save you from bad play though. ;)

NO ZERO not even 1% I play it but the game is so compromised at this point that it cant be saved. Add to the fact that I think its worse now than in the heyday because they know the people left will keep playing regardless if you steal millions from them and new sites can open with full intention to rip people off without any consequences. I mean just listen to all the talk about Winning network (ACR BCP) and just that pokerkings skin alone should make you really take a double take but anyways... NO NOT ONE BIT, but yea Ill keep playing when so and so site steals everyones money and the next savior site opens

Time for regulations

It's time for the good old US of A to get with the times. It's time for America to repeal its stupid internet gambling laws, to regulate online poker rooms and to make money off of us. Regulate and tax it baby :)

If you're going to start a thread like this you should have more than a couple random hands and a blanket statement. A A would be an easy hand to run a program through you're hand history to see what percentage you win that hand.

Get the answer to that hand (A A), it should tell if you want to play of not. If anything, it will tell how good or bad you play that hand. Would be a lot more accurate than simply asking about "trusting on-line poker".

Online poker is not rigged. Do you honestly think that these online poker companies would purposely rig their sites? You don't get business like that.

The reason why you are seeing some bad beats is because online poker is much faster and you get many more hands in then playing live. It's going to happen more frequently.

I think most online gamers know about this feeling, but it's not a chase or the software is against you. The same hand can happen in a live round. when this happens try to take a deep breath and go to the next hand or next game as this is part of GAME.

In online poker I do not play very good cards many times in different games or tournaments many times, I am constantly interrupted by small cards, but this is a game and different moments occur, at such times you have to put up with the game if you like the poker room, or change the poker room!

I have no reason not to trust online poker.
I often held prize-winning places in freerolls, and I always received all payments.

In online poker, I realized one thing-the winner is the one who puts the bucks in the room! That's it!

It can certainly feel at times that the software is out to get you when opponents chase with marginal hands and hit on the river, etc. We've all been there. But I think this feeling comes more from thinking you "deserve" to win the hand because you had AA and you can't believe that your stupid opponent would even play 32o, and not being disciplined enough to fold your AA.

When people say that online poker is rigged, they never define "rigged." Do they mean rigged against them personally (this is silly), or rigged for the site to maximize rake? If it is rigged in any way, it has to be the latter. However, if it is "rigged" to maximize rake, think about what this means. I love Magic612's videos too, especially the one titled "Brokeback Mountain." I've never laughed so hard in my life. But let's look more critically at the two theories he always repeats in his videos.

In cash games, that the software is set up to coordinate the board to players' hole cards to keep as many players in the hand as possible (chasing down to the river) in order to cap the rake. Even if this is true, it has to mean that it is rigged against all players equally, which is the same as saying it's NOT rigged at all.

Or in tournaments, if the software is set up to knock certain players out at certain times, both to speed up the conclusion of the tourney and to make players re-enter or buy in to other tourneys (again maximizing rake for the site). Even if this is true, in the long run this would happen to all players with equal frequency. Anyway, people find it hard to accept the fact that you will bust in most tourneys you play no matter how good you are.

Ultimately, the decisions still come down to you, and you have to accept full responsibility for the decisions you make at the tables. The software is not forcing you to stay in a hand, nor is it stopping you from folding your big hand on an unfavorable board when you know you're beat. If you watch Magic's videos carefully, you'll see all the big hands he folds when he senses he'll lose or when opponents are being super aggressive. If your gut tells you should fold or you have the feeling that a hand will end up badly for you, just fold your hand and wait for a better spot. You can still beat the game if you're disciplined enough, which most people aren't (I include myself here).

Look at it this way you have to have money to make money and i think play online there is more bad beats because you play a lot more hands so i think you will need more money if you play online so when they do happen you can over come it and not worry about the bad beats
