After BF, i certainly don't. You have sites like revolution.... lock/intertops, bovada, acr and merge network that are left. Withdrawing money is a huge hassle. But still there are those who do it for a living in the usa.

But doing this you need a good bankroll. Does anyone even feel comfortable having 4 or 5 figures online anymore as a usa player. Back then with stars and full tilt, very few ppl worried about it. And many of us are paying for it with full tilt and ub still haven't paying us back.

Then you got sites like lock poker where the funds have went to 50 percent selling rate.

I feel safe about it. And as far as PS,FT,UB,AP goes. I still have money on them sites. When they start back up, within the next three or four years, I'll go back and play again and my money will still be there.

I hope you took your money off of PS when you were able to. FTP is still up in the air, and I am pretty sure EVERYONE has written off ever getting back a penny from UB/AP. It will be a long time, if ever, that you will be able to use your balances that might still be left on those sites. From the way your comment was phrased, I am assuming you had pennies on them, otherwise you wouldn't be so naively confident or unconcerned.

UB and AP don't even have websites anymore... at least not their originals.

I am playing at various sites - PS, FT, unibet, 888, WH, CardCasino etc.., but I never had any problem with money or withdrawing my funds.. Yeah somewhere they want from you copies of documents, or make a deposit, but then everything was ok for me :)

Well hopefully we will be able to play on pokerstars and Fulltilt soon and people will be able to get all their money back. As far as the sites that US players can play on now, yes, for the most part. Carbon, ACR, and Bovada seem to be very good about getting their funds to their players. Dont trust any site though.. do your research to make sure its legit.

For US players, I dont think they are that safe. Im usually just playing small and for fun and I think anyting could happen. I wouldnt feel safe if I had over $1000 or $10,000 depending on how much money means to someone.

Me personally, I am afraid to build a nice bank roll up on any online poker sites.I am right now owed over $700 on a certain online poker site and I never expect to see it.They have owed it to me since last Aug. 2012 Any time I reach up to $500 I will make a withdraw. Why keep building my bankroll up when I never know 100% if I will ever receive it.I would like to build up to a 2,000 bank roll but I am afraid to.I will admit Bovada has been good about getting my claim to me in a timely manner.

It would really depend on the trustworthiness of the poker site, and a keen eye on internet gambling regulations.

After BF, i certainly don't. You have sites like revolution.... lock/intertops, bovada, acr and merge network that are left. Withdrawing money is a huge hassle. But still there are those who do it for a living in the usa.

Intertops and Lock do not belong in the same sentence other than to say they are on Revolution. Lock is has a very seedy past and takes 2+ months to pay.

Intertops on the other hand is a 30 year very successful sportsbook/casino that also offers poker. It pays out in 5 business days. They use different cashiers and carry a completely different risk profile.

Bovada is owned by bodog and is a billion dollar, 15 year old company, also solid. Pays in 1-3 weeks.

ACR is part of the Winning Poker Network which has A+ rated sportsbooks like BookMaker and 5dimes behind them. They pay out in 1-3 weeks.

I disagree that withdrawing money is a huge hassle. Some options are quite easy and fast, Intertops, ACR, Bovada.

Lastly, there are thousands of Americans earning a living playing poker right now. I know a couple hundred of them personally. Poker is a meritocracy... the strong are surviving.

But doing this you need a good bankroll. Does anyone even feel comfortable having 4 or 5 figures online anymore as a usa player. Back then with stars and full tilt, very few ppl worried about it. And many of us are paying for it with full tilt and ub still haven't paying us back.

Yes, I had (before moving out of the USA) and still have 5 figures on all of the major US networks (Merge, Revolution, Winning Network, Bodog). I've researched my choices to the best of my abilities, as any professional should do, and am comfortable with my level of risk.

Then you got sites like lock poker where the funds have went to 50 percent selling rate.

Yes, again, Lock is garbage. Simple solution, don't play there until they show vast improvement (not likely IMO).

I don't feel safe having anything over $200 on any site on line any more. Everleaf got/still has $90 of money that's suppose to be safe but I can't get it unless I jump through some hoops for it or transfer to someone that can play there.

The reason I had doubts was the fact when I withdrew money (I only play on Bovada) every check I get comes from a different place. I had them come from canada, japan, and china. All in US funds so its cool but still makes u wonder. I never have more than $100 in at any time.

My only suggestion is to not keep anymore money than you need to play the stakes you are playing.

ive cashed out from bovada quite a bit when it was bodog and know people who cashed out from carbon....so i would tend to think its probably safe there but still dont know if they might get shut down in the future too

I have been able to cash out on Bovada but deposits that get listed on bank statements are for 800-service or strange unknown names like that which seems kind of shady to me. I personally do not feel safe with any amount but still play, just keep BR low so I can't lose much.

Playing online in the USA is a time bomb waiting to go off. I still play online and play only micros. I never keep more than a $200 balance online. What is going to happen to your roll on Merge,Bovada and Revolution when regulation happens? I am guessing these sites will disappear as well as your $$$$.
