Hi guys.

It should say `some` lol

Hope everyone is well.

This question is not about tilt, but I suppose it could be in a way

What I mean here is ppl who put in min raises in PL when they are on the button - u know they have zero but have recently read a book saying "raise if checked to when u r on the button"

It is more an observation - I don`t know these ppl, but they do get me mad :D

The only time I ever razz-tilted a little was when people would call me with a King showing all the way down and catch up on my good starting hand (without me ever being visibly paired)..

Then occasionally I'd do the same thing just to annoy people, and it seems to work. Gets your bets called more when you want them called.

Under Skin

I would guess that most people have someone or something that gets under their skin at poker tournaments. Few things I don't like is the player who check or bet low, then when it gets back to him raise it and then when it gets back to him raise it again. Some people will do this as long as they can.
If theywant to go all in then just do it and qjuit playing around. I also don't like the player who goes all-in all the time. I also don't like the player who plays for a while and then sits out till near the end of the game and comes back to play.

I don't get annoyed easy, but here's the one thing that infuriates me.

Imagine, if you will... No limit table. Early position limps, which starts a limping frenzy. Full table (give or take a couple) limp in. Then, the BB decides to min-bet as the last action. So, what happens 90% of the time? Everyone pays the min-raise and we see the flop. If it goes to showdown the BB usually has some trash like J9o. Is there any logic to this play at all? Do they think that min-bet is going to steal the pot right there? Or do they just like pumping up a multi-way pot that they have little or no chance of winning?

:D I don`t believe you !!!
I know it seems odd, but how people play doesn't pee me off, whereas some chat comments (such as zzzzzzzzz) really get on my nerves! :p

Well, this doesn't really piss me off too much, it's actually kinda funny.

Usually happens in no limit holdem tourneys.

Say there are about 4 limpers already in the pot. The next person to act makes a raise, in which all 4 previous limpers call.

Then, after the flop. Someone MINIMUM BETS ...wtf?

If you don't like check raising and All-Ins you should probably consider playing limit :-\

Ya i noticed that in a sit and go today... The blinds are 75/150. On the turn with 2,000 in the pot this guy is betting 150....then the guy after him raises to 300 lolwhat?

I hate this as well, however, there is something I hate more, which is a similar situation.

Let's say there are 4 limpers in front of me and I pick up AK suited. I make my raise (3XBB + 4BBs (1 for every limper)) and everyone calls the raise!!! AHHH I hate not being able to have at least 2 of them fold out.

Orrrr when I make a raise with AK-AJ and the person to my immediate left insta-calls the raise.

Orrrr the people that bet on the flop, then flat call a re raise, then bet the turn regardless.

End vent.

I see this quite a lot, and get a real kick out of it. The bet is usually a min-bet or something as well.

It's as funny as the guys who min-bet bluff on the river.

THIS IS THE WORST - Playing perfect poker for 6 hours in a tournament and make the final table. Play patiently watching the same guy suck out and knock everybody out of the final table till u are heads up. Bide your time only to get sucked out on and come in second.

Happens to me all the time. I hate winning just the second biggest payout of the tournament.

I guess the one thing that bothers me the most is the table captain / teacher. Someone plays poorly and hits a miracle card, then this person decides he's going to point out the mistakes made and or berate the bad player. I spend lots of time trying to find these fish and then some idiot does everything in his power to make the fish feel unwelcome and leave.

Yes, some people do get under my skin while I am playing online. Especially the all in idiots. I usually don't encounter them unless I am in a freeroll. Right now I am having to rebuild my bankrolls on the sites that I play on so I am stuck with them. Hopefully soon I will not have to worry about the freerolls as often.

The hilarious part is when this happens, and everyone folds.

as for me @ the OP, the answer's no. Either these players are playing badly, in which case I take note and do my best to exploit this and part them with their money they're so willingly giving out, or they're playing well, in which case I respect them and usually try to avoid confrontations with them, instead focusing on the first group of people, which is the heavy majority in online poker.

hate it when you have a pp, 2 people or so limp, then someone min raises, you call, as do a few others, then someone else min raises, then the original raiser 4 min-bets, due to all the calling from other players, you have to call with great odds, the problem comes when they keep min raising and you end up with a 1/3rd of your stack in the middle pre flop, only to miss your set

very much so. just got done playing a mtt with a guy who was at my table almost the whole time (ended up getting 2nd). he would have 4500 chips when blinds were 1600/800 and just limp in and fold to a min bet on the flop.

shockingly he made it to the final table.

When I notice that I am starting to be bothered by someones play, I ask myself why I'm getting pissed instead of figuring out the best way to exploit what they are doing.

I am confused, is this a good thing or a bad thing?
