"In poker, an overlay is the gap between a poker tournament's guaranteed prize pool and the actual prize pool generated by entrants. For example, if a tournament has a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000, a buy in of $100 and 90 players enter, the players will contribute only $9,000 to the prizepool."

I've noticed particularly with FullFlush and SportsBetting that they tend to have massive overlays. So much so that I actually wonder how they're making any money. This concerns me because it might suggest that they'll fight tooth and nail to stop you from withdrawing.

Example of just recently on SP:

277*99 = $27,423 That's a loss of ~$23,000 on SportsBetting's part.

271*11 = $2981 That's a loss of ~$2,019

468*1.10 = $514 That's a loss of ~$1485

My issue is I have a hard time believing they generate enough revenue through cash rakes and other fees to actually keep these tournament losses sustainable. Here are more tournaments scheduled, at least they're on the weekend:

Does this imply that these sites are unsafe in terms of withdrawing?

Full flush has been operating like this for a very long time.. If that company isn't in the red than idk why i've taken all these business courses... They have been very fishy on paying players in timely manner and they don't even offer sports betting to attract more players to their pool.. I would not touch these sites with a ton of money.. Unless u like to turn greenbacks into play money

The way Full Flush Poker makes money is to offer too good to be true promotions and deposit bonuses to attract deposits and then don't give those deposits back or only a very small percentage.

The massive overlays at Flush Flush tournaments are "play money" overlays. ;)

Tried to warn everyone over full flush a while back about their bonus fraud and relative unethical behavior. They don't pay out anymore either, except to their insider as I have been reading. Their insiders who purchase chips from people who cant cash out for .33 on the $1.
