Different room= better/worse game quality?
As I have stated in a few threads, I play at PKR.com. Since they dont allow US players, all the US players here wont know it, at least not the money tables. There is no real reason why I started there, I just randomly picked a room. I also play at FT, and deposited on FT and PKR, but did most of my initial playing at FT, and as I really suked, lost most of my buy in. As a result of losing, I began to try to find out why I was losing, and that lead to books, HA, and so on, which all led to better ROI. Since my BR was almost gone on FT, but still ok on PKR, I began to play mainly there. I now can play a bit higher, as I am still doing ok there. I am - and have been - working on a number of poker goals, and this will lead to a large increase in my hand volume probably around end of summer. I have an account at PS as well, no deposit yet, but when I start to increase my volume, I want to have better game selection, and it seems FT and PS have the largest volume. I hear about some sites being softer, and so on. So I have a couple of questions, you will see where I am going with this, any other comments or suggestions that are relevant are more than welcome.
What do I want to consider when trying to decide which room to play?*
Is it the site or the buy in that makes more difference in opponent skill level?
Are sites with less traffic still recommended? If so which and why?
Sites better/worse for all games, or sng better here, cash better there, mtt better somewhere else?
*Edit: I guess the better way to ask this questions is: Why did YOU make your choice, and what is pertinent to you in room selection?
