Deposit bonuses & transfers

So pokerstars wants me to scan my passport and email it to them, but I'm still waiting to get a new passport. Point is, if I make a trade with someone where I give them money on FTP and they give me money on PS, will it mess up anything with me signing up for my first time deposit in terms of bonuses/referrals?

Transfers aren't eligible for bonuses.

Right. So say someone transfers me $50. If I play using that, then later deposit $50 of my own, does that still give me a bonus?

Yeah. It's a bonus for your 1st deposit. Even if you get a transfer though you won't be able to withdrawal without sending the info they want anyway.
