Deposit on ACR/BCP, Possible problems?

Hello Everyone,

I am planning on either depositing on America’s Cardroom or Black Chip Poker. I only get one time to get the most out of my initial sign-up, so I am asking for everyone’s help.

I cannot deposit on pokerstars, partypoker, Titan Poker or 888 Poker because I am in the USA. I also cannot deposit on BetOnline or intertops, because my wife, Dawn, is on those sites and I am afraid I will lock her account because we share the same internet connection.

I have read several posts about many sites that require you to turn over sign-up bonuses in a certain amount of rake during a certain amount of time in order to cash out or even make sports betting bets in order to cash out. I don’t even watch sports, so the latter would not be good for me. I have seen posts that said a bonus was applied when they signed up that they didn’t know they signed up for and then they were held to a restriction when they tried to cash out. I would also like to know if I need to opt out of certain bonuses.

So my question is: what is the best way to sign-up and get the most out of promotions, or should I not sign up for any promotions at all. Also, do you have a preference of the ACR skin or the BCP skin. I plan on playing the introductory freerolls that are offered once a week to new depositors. I will probably play cash ring games at micro-stakes if they are offered. I will probably make a pretty small initial deposit.

I would truly appreciate it if everyone would take a moment to give me some friendly advice. This is my first time depositing online, so I would like to make the most of it. I usually only play live games, but I am looking forward to learning how to include online play. Thank you in advance for your advice.

Very good poll. Interested in answers. I'd also like to know about withdrawal these days. Previously I could use bank or credit cards. Now seems to be crypto only at some places.

Hi Brian, I think you have to wait for ACR to fix your problems, you can go to the ACR thread and read the post about the problems that ACR has had these days, I think you wait a few days ok

As mackmasterss hinted, you should wait until the latest DDoS attacks have been mitigated at ACR. This includes BCP, and the other skins in the WPN network as well. Now is not a good time to play, let alone deposit money.


As for which to choose, they all offer variations on their promotions. I am pretty sure they all have basically the same freerolls for new depositors. I would just peruse their promotions to see what you like. Or in the case of the freerolls for new depositors, look for the one with the lowest automated entries and go with them.

I would read the terms of use carefully before depositing.

I deposited $50 on BOL and was then required to turn over $750 because of the bonus I "signed up" for before withdrawing.

I was able to withdraw easily once the rollover was done. I believe it is possible to opt out of the bonus, yet, you still have to play through the amount of your deposit

It's not that I don't like ACR, I just feel that ignition is a far better site to deposit your money with. Ultimately it's your choice as both sites are credible, but I've withdrawn $200 from Ignition with no trouble.

I never deposited on any poker site to date. If I had a substantial amount of money to withdraw, thousands at least, I would make a minimal deposit if it was required to do the withdrawal. Or I might use the funds to stake CC members and still never deposit, and if there was winnings in staking then have them transfer back to me directly and not through the site.

As for poker, live is my preference, 5/10, 10/20 cash or tournaments.

I was a professional horse handicapper for the last 8 years up until 6 months ago. There I bet live and on several US based ADW's licensed with the racing commissions in Oregon and, or North Dakota. I deposited money and when I won I withdrew quickly at no cost, no games by ach.

I was an "other" vote.

I didn't realize you could sign up and play without a deposit.

ACR/BCP are the same network just a different skin so same player pool. The software is fair but you can use a HUD which is why I prefer it. I haven't deposited just ground up a micro BR from the freerolls.

I have no knowledge of Ignition except it is anonymous play. No HUDs.

If playing with a HUD isn't important I would suggest just downloading both and seeing which software you like more.

It's a benefit to you and CC I believe if you review what CC has observed with these sites and use their link to sign up.
