Thought I'd try and start a weekly thread with a list of the best freerolls/ points buyins

Today I am playing:

CC FullTilt $200 freeroll
GNUF $500 freeroll (non US)
bodog $500 freeroll
partypoker $500 (1 point needed)
pokerstars VIP $30k (100 points for silver or above)
Ultimatebet Aruba OFC (need to be registered already)

(and a few other private ones I wont mention here- dont forget the Academy Sit N learn freerolls if you have qualified)

for UK there's also:
Pokerstars $100k sat freeroll for anyone with no bankroll (otherwise play the $1)

Tomorrow there's the Bodog and Partypoker tournaments again (both daily), plus a few private freerolls

Any decent freerolls I've missed?

Doyle's Room has a weekly $1000 dollar freeroll on Sunday. You have to win a ticket to get in to it. They run a sat. every night at 10pm est. Last night it paid $1.50(?) for a min cash. Also, most people did not show up to play.

This tourny would be much easier to win a ticket and cash than the freerolls on Stars. Also, it is easier to receive a ticket than the $1000 freeroll on Cake Poker.

These were so easy. I played 15 of them last Saturday and placed in 6 of them. On Sunday ended up winning some money for that too. I was kind of pissed about the fact that I couldn't get anything out of the other 5 tickets though. I was hoping that I would be able to get some credits for them, but oh well. I will say I wouldn't have played all 15 had I known that. I got my first ticket on the first one I played, so I could have spent my time being more productive with the other ones, lol

Pitbull Poker has freerolls on the half hour every hour, and they accomidate all the forms of poker. The fields are usually between 300-600 players, and they always pay 18 spots. I have been able to make the money on quite a few occasions, but watch out for the "all-in donkeys" at the beginning of the tournament. (That applies to ANY poker room!) I especially like the Stud hi/lo game at 9:30 PM PT (12:30 eastern) You can find me quite frequently there. Good Luck and God bless!

The other thing is that pitbull is a flash player site, so you dont even have to download software.

Full tilt have geographic freerolls as well as their regular $100 freerolls. party poker have lots of freerolls too - for aussies they also have two freerolls each night leading to $M monthly and their big weekly tourneys. Pacific 888 have $75 freerolls every two hours or so. Aussies should also check out the pokerstars freerolls for entry into the APPT events each week night. The Cake freerolls into the $1000 weekly can lead to a nice bankroll. Also Ultimate/Absolute have freerolls nearly every hour. High5Action have small freerolls nearly every hour - big fields though for such small $$. Betway have nice freerolls every few hours as well.
Good luck.

Personally I dont think $50 or $100 freerolls are worth the effort and playing satellites to a $1k freeroll with thousands of entrants is just as bad!

Bodog freerolls only regular one worth entering that I can find.

Special promotions (eg FT Fantasy freerolls and Pokerstars billion hand promos) and Private freerolls (eg CC freerolls) are worth entering, but there seem to be less and less 'decent' freerolls out there that are (almost!) worth the time/ effort.

the GNUF $500 freeroll is also on Tuesdays 6pm GMT (normally ~800 players, Saturday 1.1k players), so thats a $0.50 buyin for free.

As a self confessed bonus whore, I normally only play cash games and sngs/ mtts if I'm getting points to buyin to decent points tournaments- for me it's all about maximising EV and it does work!

Yeah i dont like wasting my time playing 50 UB freerolls. I can play FullTilt 100 freerolls but i usually don't because top 27 out of 2700 people is kinda bad. The Bodog 500 is alright but i mostly play private freerolls. Pitbull freerolls suck.....the payout is really bad...its a 25 dollar freeroll. Letrs see i wont play at doyles room because of all the horror stories and the rest of the freerolls on the cake network suck. I want to get another BR started somewhere because right now i only have 1 on stars that i started with 5 bucks and turned into 250. So far i think FullTilt is the way to go, or maybe Bodog. The rest are just down right terrable unless you can get into a private freeroll. Then it might be worth it.

LOL @ horror stories, sad but true. I only play sng's 'cause that's easy money. If you have time to play 10 $5 sng's you make $100 in a heartbeat

Another $500 site

I also prefer the bigger Freerolls like Bodog.

BWIN offers $500 Freerolls everyday as well. But Im not sure if the U.S. are allowed.

Its easy to make the cash but you cant play any tables unless you make over 80 cents. So you might have to make the money twice in a week before you can hit the micro limit tables. Unless of course you have a nice run and make over $100 dollars by winning.

Lata.

I've been struggling with the PS satellite freerolls for years. It's rediculous, have to get through 10K people to earn a ticket. the bodog 500 is so much better. i'm def going to check out the doyles room freeroll. :D

Yeah I wanna try out the Sunday Grand.. My login name is ECK1SHAMAN..

The reason I havent tried the entry qualifiers is because they register at 1.30 AM here in SA and start at 4 or something like that- too early for me.

I would appreciate it because I would love to play some SnG's on Doyles room and get a bankrooll going there. Thnx

Hi Crying Amy,

I normally stick to the ring games, but often play betway's $500 FR on Tuesdays and Saturdays, easy enough to get in the prize money, espec if ure bankroll is low!

regards,

Dazzla

I just enjoy the private ones anymore. Less people and not as many crazies.

Hi FTPHeHaTeMe; that's the Doyle's Sunday Grand. Still want the ticket??

Hey guys, I've been trying to get a hold of Nick, well, I sent him ONE private message and did not answer. Anyway, I would like to make a private game for you all at Doyle's, say a $200 weekly or sum. Maybe you guys can help me out to get this done.

What I need is to talk to Nick and get the OK to promote the game; can you guys send him a private message or something??

Thanks guys,

-Mark

Howzit DoylesR,

I'm very new here and I'm not allowed to play in private games yet.

I'm not even sure who Nick is --I presume the big guy on campus.

If I see a nick here while im reading the posts I will try and send him a message.

That is a great idea though in my opinion.

I'm not even sure who Nick is

Nick is the owner of the site, he started all of this greatness...

heh im just trying to get passwords to some private freerolls

That isn't really the reason you should be here. You should be reading and absorbing the massive amounts of information that will improve your game if you take the time to understand it, not just put your 65 posts in and then stop posting because you get the passwords...

I agree. Nick is the admin of cards chat, I don't really know what's his username is. I'll just get a hold of Dakota. My idea is to get private games for cards chat members on a regular basis. Start off with a freeroll and then continue with added buy ins. But to do so, I need the approval from the admins of the site so...

Whaddya think?
