Ok so I finally figured out why I'm unable to register for the freeroll on ftp on time. My clock on this pc is 9 min slow. So I watch the clock on ftp today 3 min b4 with my mouse where the register pops up. Don't look like that you've all done it.. And fk me if I'm still not able to register. These crack heads have mod mouses that register in a 1/3 of a sec. WTF are they feeding their fingers. Guess I'll have to try in 3 hours.

The 2700 person NL freerolls on Full Tilt fill up in under 20 seconds. You need to be quick with the mouse. I forget to sign up most nights because I am playing in other games.

I just park the mouse over the registration button, and watch the Full Tilt clock count down.

Yeah that's wat i used to have to do. Those and also the Face the Ace SnG's, which i think might even fill up faster with less people . I would actually start clicking before the register button would appear, or I don't get in. LOL

Yeah those freerolls fill up really fast, you got to watch the clock as it counts down. It helps to have high speed internet otherwise the register button wont pop up until its too late. It's probably better to make a minimum deposit because those freerolls only pay top 27. There is a lot of donkeys to get by to make the money.

Those freerolls have been like that for a long time you are better off making a small deposit if you can or playing in some private sponsered games that are easier to get into.

Have to be some of the most -ev poker playing available.

Instead of wasting time on these riduculous freerolls:

a) Play the PS Daily $55 Free Sat (at least you get 55 bucks/MTT Entry for your waste of time/trouble--and you have an extra 20 seconds to register)
b) Play some of the various Cake Network Freerolls (can get more value for your time)
c) Play the bodog $500 Freerolls
d) Play the CC Freerolls
e) Join one of several Staking Sites and play for free using other peoples money and keep 50% of the profit for yourself

yeah also those are very hard to make it in the money. i only made the money in a private freeroll, and it was like .17 cents lol. better off mang a 30$ deposit and playing the .01/.02 tables or 2$ sng's...

Can you expand on option E? I've no experience with these and playing with other peoples money seems interesting.

haha, anyone ever accidently unregister right after getting in?

you have to watch the clock tick down on the freeroll "time till it starts" deal. if the freeroll starts an hour after registration, wait for the clock to tick to 59:55, click once or twice

I'd do the academy freeroll on FTP. Lots of dead stacks.

There are several dedicated Staking Sites, and several dedicated staking threads (located inside poker forums) where players and investors team up for SNGs, MTTs and some cash games. Generally, an investor puts up the entry fee and the player plays the game, and they split the profits.

When staking first started, it was much harder to attract stakes and you generally needed time, experience and good stats. These days, there has been so much money made, that just about any player can get staked (even if it is starting out at 1.10 SNGs or <$1 MTTs). There are many instances of players starting with zero BR and at 1.10 SNGs and moving up thru staking to a large bankroll and playing the Sunday Majors on others dime. Most of these players also turn to investing in others as well.
