Just got off a 7 day Christmas cruise. Last cruise I went on had those funky computer tables. This time they had a actual live dealer. I didn't plan to play poker and I didn't but boy I wish I had planned to. After spending a little time watching the players it was truly fish city. Some of the worst play I ever saw. Then they had several young players that never played for money who had dads feeding them more and more chips as they lost.

Word to the wise. If you plan on a cruise and can play poker take some BR with you so you can play. I refuse to pay the 5% for getting cash to play on top of the 10% rake so I didn't play. But it was the same people there every night.

They also ran a single table shootout tourney where the final table on the last day was made up from the weeks daily table winners. 1st place was another cruise. Not bad for a $75 buy in.

Yea - even I will play cash games on a cruise - they are just too soft to pass up. The tournaments suck though - if you win you have to go on another cruise to play the final lol.

Sounds like a pretty good way to assure more cruise tickets are sold, Dakota. That's a sukky way to do their patrons. Shame on them.
