i am a member of both and just looking at what you can do with the points, its obvious the better value to play is with pokerstars. You can buy in directly to cash for real money with fpp in pokerstars. with full tilt, you can use their points to only buyin to Satellite tournaments where only the top 2 or 3 will win. Full tilt should seriously think about changing what you can do with the points and do what pokerstars is doing. I guarantee that will get more players on their site. I know they have all the top pros signed on, but wouldnt they want more business as well from the average player to increase their profits? Maybe thats why pokerstars always has more players playing on their site.

I save all my points so that doesnt matter as much to me.

I DO play at FTP for the rakeback.

Yes exactly. I like them both and find the value about the same due to FT rakeback.

It seems rakebake is a favored choice amongst fulltilt and stars users.I think both sites have something unique to offer but i agree tilt needs to make some changes regarding the points options.

? You can buy tournament tickets with your FTP's.. It's 450 for a 2.20 ticket I believe.

I can't compare the sites, I've only played freerolls on PS. Rakeback is a huge plus though, I wouldn't have it any other way, except for maybe more rakeback, 16% is kinda weak.

Why are you only getting 16% at FTP?

i played both, i like pokerstars better, and the rakeback (well, cash bonuses) i get are not that bad, plus with the FPPs i get i can play sng's or MTT qualifier to most of the big (or biggiesh) tournaments. yesterday for 20 FPPs i won 3.3 tournament dollars which i can play whenever i want and whatever sng or MTT i chose to.

Im in the process of trying to grab any money I have at all other sites and just play on these 2 sites only unless its free roll stuff or league stuff. While both overwhelm me, Im just curious will playing these 2 sites mean you are facing harder competition (which aint really what I need since Im not very good at the game) but I feel the stiffer the comp the better my game will improve and the quicker it will improve instead of lulling myself into a false sense that if I do well at one site that I can start moving up in levels.

You are correct, Pokerstars don´t offer rakeback.

Dan, if compare Stars and FT with Cake or Merge, yea, those are softer than the big ones, but this not mean bad players are less there, is more in the way that will find more regular competition (good or bad).

It also will depend what you play, for S&G´s or MTT sattys i love Fulltilt, Stars have also some but i have rakeback in Fulltilt wich mean make me play more there.

But for MTT´s i find the fields huge, so i like to keep a site like Merge or cake for when want a MTT and can´t spend all the time with the big ones.

For rings i find that 4nl in Cake or merge is way more soft than 2nl in Fulltilt, but how much tables will find in them?, not much, so you need to go where you find what you look.

At the end you will see it for you self and decided wich sites like more.

For me all of them have something good that others don´t have.

Sve all ftps till you plan on leaving the site and never return and then dont worry about the MGR hit. But I prefer ftp if only for rush but if I plan on moving up soon, I might go to stars for the easier game.

I play on both FTP and P'stars, and prefer P'stars over FTP because of the MTT's, SNG's, and cash tables. The only thing I like more on FTP is the freerolls, but I think both are good sites. ;)

What's that got to do with anything?

Anyway, what I like about Stars is how easy it is to cash out. I want $5? Great, I can get it right in my bank account. With FT, the min cashout is $100 and it seems I can only get paper checks to boot.

And rakeback is great, but Stars tends to have really nice promotions that make up for it. Especially if you have a high enough volume to qualify for VIP benefits.

For E-wallets min. cashout is $50 in Fulltilt (at least for neteller). If you have the volume to qualify for vip benefits in Stars then min cashout amount should not be a problem if play that same amount in Fulltilt.

But yea, i do like that in Stars, that you are not forced to cashout a X amount.

At least Fulltilt low down the transfers and now is $1, that is a improve.

I like more Stars software than Fulltilt (not sure why everytime i open fulltilt software it frozze everything on my laptop) after open all cool but that is anoying if are playing some place else at the time (and is not the laptop because can play in PKR site with out a problem<--PKR=most heavy software), Stars runs easy.

I like Fulltilt $2/27 S&G , Stars have $1 or $3 but not $2, turbo in fulltilt is 3min blinds, and standard is 6min blinds (for S&G) Stars turbo is 5min blnds and standard is 10min.

I wish Star have 6 min blinds, so i guess need both sites to get complete.

I to am a member of both. Rarily play PS as I like the setup of FLT better. I do a lot of play money as I am retired and on limited income and as I accumulate chips playing ring games, when I get a good quantity of chips I move to 2,000 SnG's and feel like I get more knowledge and experience there. I do play FLT Clan games a few times a week, but those clans can get tough (er) once you keep playing the same people. Good luck with your game on the felts.
