It took me a minute trying to figure this out, I thought part of your pic was missing. It is interesting, maybe they are just part of a group. Were you in the game?

So its collusion when 2 people have a similar picture for their avatar?

suit this was meant as a question. Can someone correct the title and put ? at the end for me.

Not because the avatar was the same. They were pretty much exact. I wa in a rush to get this posted as I am still playing but they were also both from UK. I guess that doesnt prove anything either but as a member of CC and the poker community it is worth talking about

Probably nothing but a coincidence unless you noticed anything fishy at the table.

The pictures aren't exact, even if you flip them around so they are facing the same direction to me it looks like 2 different flowers. Hmm, maybe I can pull the image from the pdf so I can flip it around put them next to each other to show it, but Im lazy and got some yardwork to do before the CC freeroll.

suit....it's no problem. Please don't go to the hassle. If i saw another sleestak at my table and they were from my location I would at least make mention of it. I guess everyone is different.

WV....Nothing fishy except them. I KOd them pretty early on.....LOL

A couple of days ago, a player from Manila started chatting to me in filipino (he addressed me by my screenname), obviously because I live in the Philippines. I don't speak the language, don't have a clue what he said, and was going to reply to that effect but I was multitabling so it took me a minute to respond.

Another player on the table (english speaker, didn't check where he was from) suggested we might be colluding. I replied quickly that I didn't speak the language and that I didn't understand what the Manila player had said, but was surprised by how quickly the collusion suggestion was made. I usually just type "english pls" whenever non-english chat occurs.

I'm sure collusion occurs online, and probably more frequently than I think. However, I'd warn against jumping to conclusions without evidence like obvious softplay (anything more sophisticated than that isn't going to occur at microstakes).

fwiw, they'd have to be absolute idiots to collude and chat to each other at the table, so don't think the presence/absence of chat at the table means anything.

P.S. agree that the flowers are similar but not identical. When I see that, I sometimes check where they're from, but more out of curiosity than anything else.

I agree that the pictures being alike is not enough proof that they were colluding. All the same i think it is a good idea to point these things out to each other before they become something bigger.

I bet that anyone reading this thread comes across these two flowers will pay closer attention to them if they do.

Better to be safe than sorry.

I am certain that I spotted 2 colluding players at Full Tilt yesterday. I emailed support, and so did another player at the table who also was aware. They replied today and said they were investigating and may contact me with more questions.

The fact that they have similar avatars but didnt talk to each other suggests that they at least know each other... it doesnt mean their colluders, I mean people from CC play together and know each other, does that mean that we collude with each other? Like OP said, if they were colluding they were doing a really bad job of it, with similar avatars, at the same table, and neither even cashed. Could just be two friends playing with each other without doing normal colluding stuff like chip dumping or folding to all ins when they shouldnt.

This reminds me about a CC invasion we had on pokerstars in an 90 player tournament... someone suggested that a couple of our players were colluding, because they both had CardsChat avatars.

If they were from the same city(or area if you are familiar with the towns) and seemed to avoid each other then I'd probably make a note of their names and watch and see if they ended up on other tables together. Then I'd report it, but have something more than similar avatars to make a case.

K, how did you capture the table with your notebook...I have a laptop and can not capture anything...how'd you do it?

BTW, the collusion thing is worthy of sending msg to PS if chat warranted it or their play or if they seemed to be passing chips, but sounds like they aren't doing it OR don't know how to be effective huh?

You should be able to do it the same way you would do it on a desktop. On your keyboard there is a Print Screen key. It may be PrtSc, PrntScr anything similar depending on your keyboard, possibly even a Fn + key. That key captures the screen to your clipboard, you then need to paste it into a program like Paint, Photoshop, etc.

I checked both of our netbooks and they both have PrintScreen buttons, so it's easy enough to PrintScreen, paste it into Paint and then save it as a JPG file.

Agree but I still feel this was worth noting at least here at CC for starters.

If they were from the same city(or area if you are familiar with the towns) and seemed to avoid each other then I'd probably make a note of their names and watch and see if they ended up on other tables together. Then I'd report it, but have something more than similar avatars to make a case.

One person is from "England" and the other one "Cambridge"

I use a screen capture program. You shuld be able to just hold Alt Prt Screen and get the same affect though. I am gonna get rid of that program I have. I prefer one that captures and saves to JPG over PDF
