There is a new pokeroom called Coinpoker... It operates with its own cryptocurrency called CHP.

Be warned though. According to their T&C the site belongs to Fusion Processing LTD in Cyprus.

That would already be bad enough as online poker is illegal in cyprus.
But to make it worth such a company doesnt even seem to exist...

It's probably a scam to make some quick money utilizing the current cryptocurrency and ICO hype...

Why would a legit business hide behind a fake identity ?

I think you might have some facts wrong on that. As there is a vast amount of pros attached to the project along with poker news.

So why do they hide behind a fake company ???
On an anonymously registered domain ?
Using an anonymous cryptocurrency ?

If it was a legit thing they would let You know who they actually are...
And "all the pros" are just listed on their site as "advisors"... whatever that means...
And they are all connected to TonyBet.... which belongs to TonyG...
Just as PokerNews...

So it's actually no one else but people involved in this site who promote and recommend it....

Their "head of security" has studied politics....

List goes on.....

their all new and revolutionary poker software is just a TonyBet Clone...

so basically they don't even have a product at all at the moment...
apart from the 834st cryptocurrency on the market.... which isnt
tradeable at a single exchange so far...

Maybe Tony G cant be open about his invovelment because it would raise
questions why a member of the EU parliament is running a non-regulated gambling website...

But an anonymous website whith obviously faked details will never get any real money from me... Depending on where the real site owners are actually located this whole project could be shut down by athorities any moment as their site doesnt mention any sort of license they have....

They had the pre-ico via spectro coin. Most domains when you look it up in a who is will have a domain agent, With the next ICo is in 7days and more exchanges are coming soon. They room is in beta testing where you can win the coin along with ETH plus a Telsa. Closed to the US though at this point As far as I know TonyG hasn't done anything wrong

Well he is running an unregulated poker room obviously, which is a crime in the EU... So much for he hasnt done anything wrong...

I do not see CHP on the list of cryptos that spectrocoin supports... And I do not see any exchange being used in the ICO at all... You simply send ETH to an address and that's it... So right now those CHP are only numbers on the screen... Noone actually has them in a wallet. They are only displayed when You login to the poker software...

You just repeat what You read on their site... Which is obviously spreading false information as the company they say they are does not exist... Why do You believe the other stuff on it ? And which legit exchange will start working with a fake company that is running an unregulated gambling site? Why would any legit exchange be keen on having the cops seize their servers for doing transactions with illegal gambling sites?

These scammers go so far that they even tell people in their chatroom that their legal teams is confident that US players can legally participate in the games on coinpoker... and that is absolute NONSENSE as there is no way for US citizens to play legal poker on sites that are not registered and regulated within the US... If You dont believe me then google for what happened with fulltilt poker when the US authorities went after them...

Coinpoker has no gambling license... therefor the site is illegal in the US, in the EU, in canada and in probably 98% of all other legislations too... This site has therefor absolutely no future and the CHPs are a rip-off for that reason... They will either be worthless because the site fails ( like any other room that tonyg tried to launch ) or they will be seized if this site gets big enough to get noticed by the authorities....

Why are you worried? Just do not give them your money and wait and everything will be clear, right?

I think you said it best PokerNuts. If he is this worried about Coin Poker he must not play at ACR or most other sites. I don't think Poker news or the other people involved are going to be willing to get involved. As for Tony G he is also a Government member somewhere. I could look if i spent more time.

Agreed. If you want to be a trusted, reputable site, you need to give all the information straight-up and not hide behind any lies.
Definitely not getting any of my time.

Well, too bad that Bankera isnt working as of now... So You still cant exchange your CHP...
And look who is on the list of "advisors" at Bankera... Of course... TonyG !!! What a surprise...

I think it's better to devote my energy to a free ITM mini tournament than to playing virtual idiots in an illegal gaming room, including in the EU playing illegal ...
just a good idea, bad time ... test ...

Have You seen him in the Tesla ???

You know, a scam isnt getting better because some people make a profit... By your logic every illegal pyramid sheme would be a legit business just because a few people at the top are happy with their profit...

I have looked at this site and would love to know how the site can assure me that multi-accounting is not taking place? From the information asked for at sign-up an email and later at deposit an Ethereum wallet address, anyone could have 1,2 a 100 a 1000 accounts on site. The site itself could have 1000's of anonymous accounts or am I missing something? I don't want to run this site down if I am missing some sort of check that is already in place or will be in place to combat the type of behavior I am talking about so if anyone can answer my question please do. And if you could quote my post so I automatically get an email from CardsChat when someone answers I would appreciate it. I am genuinely interested in this site but am not going to play there if there is a possibility that I am at a table where everyone but me is the same person.

I have followed this site some. I can not speak to its legitimacy but I do believe that put some information out about tracking multiple accounts and suspended some accounts until it was sorted out.

Locked out at coinpoker.com can't get chips out

Sad state of affairs here. I listened to some idiot on another forum and played here for a while. Turns out it was ICO investors who doesn't even play, he was just a promoter.

Now I'm locked out, woke up today and can't access chips or account because they linked up with another service that requires apping and verification.

The warning signs where there, this site is a scam from the ground up but I figured since I'm only playing free I can put up with it. I now regret making this mistake.

I came here to warn you guys. I never lost anything so I'm not a disgruntled loser, what I have in there is from freerolls and under $20 but the site has locked me out and they stopped answering emails to withdraw the chips. So basically its theft by software using a third party.

Obviously I'll never touch a dumb thing like civic, which is just like them another blockchain phony pretending they're doing something and worth something. But even if I put my feelings aside for these scam companies I don't have an App or a phone, I don't care for those kinds of things and I don't think any serious player will ever tie his phone number and IMEI to service like this.

Take this as a warning, it was nothing but a waste of time to play here. It's rigged, its dead, you can't withdraw the funds and now it's a complete lock out.

Not sure how verification is costly? Now I haven't used civic but did read only a little about it.

World's full of different people, God bless.
TonybG and Isabelle Mercier are behind this project. They wouldn't risk their reputation.
It's 100% legit. Been there from the ICO, and now they'll start sponsoring live tournaments as well!
Hope I can play in one!

It is very interesting what you are writing and sorry but I don't believe that it can be true.
I think that it is not possible, that they locked a site for you. I have never heard something like this.

First of all, their verification procces is very simple and don't worry to use your mobile to verification procces. I think that you need to put your mobile phone number during the registration procces in all poker sites.

And yes, I agree that withdraw procces is totally complicated. Also for me, because I can say that I am stupid in Cryptocurencies.
But please, don't say that it is not possible to withdraw. Because it is not true.

I had also some winnings from freerolls. And my friend (for me he is expert in cryptocurrencies) helped me to do everything and to withdraw this ChPs from coinpoker and change it to real money.
I can promise you that everything was working.

Yes it is true that I was thinking that my winnings from freerolls will be around 70 USD and after the final procces I had only around 42-43 USD... but as I wrote. Please don't write that it is not possible to withdraw.

For me, I don't see a risk to play freerolls here. Gl to all [emoji6]

How you change CHPs for real money ?, I know that is some crypto exchange sites, that change CHPs to Ethereum, and understand how to withdraw chp to your eth wallet, but how change to real money ?, what exchange you use for this ?, what the process ?
