I don't think it would be a game you could win in the long run. I remember one room had a game called all in or nothing. You started with 1 chip. All you could hope for is that your hole cards were better than everybody else.

In my opinion it is not very lucrative, the more you may find some way to play more profitably!

I personally think that you should not play those tournaments there'd be throwing your banka to lose in one single hand so you better use it to play that banka MTT or SNG. That in these tournaments is necessary plantearun Game mode with alo hands you will come out during the tournament.

BetOnline has heads-up games called Instant All-in. Pretty lame and unrealistic. No matter the starting hands, both players are automatically all-in preflop on the first hand. Definitely not lucrative in the long run.

You are basically paying rake on a coin flip... Say you play the 20 +1 or w/e the rake is... and you play this 100 times... your expectation is somewhere around -100 dollars as you will pay this amount in rake, and in a coinflip situation (odds should help balance themselves out even tho most hands wont be 5050 and likely will be 60/40s) you should win half the time...

This is not necessarily true. It depends on how much rakeback you get and what sort of bonus money you can earn for being a high rake player. There are plenty of guys making decent money flipping. You just have to know how to game the system.

If you are not going to be a volume guy with big bonus money, it's -EV --- but there are ways to flip that negative sign.

Good luck.

I've made 1 flip in every room I've been in plus two in one of them, and I've won every single one of them :p

This is just fluke of course, these are obviously negative EV games since your paying rake on a flip (you'd probably be doing better placing $5 on red at the casino)

I thought about doing one at Lock, just because my expectations of cashing out there someday are low.

i wanted to win quick cash and i did that on juicy stakes sometimes, and i didnt had much fun, i lost some money ... and then i realised it isnt worth the risk and i never did it after ... just play a turbo sit n go or super turbo, never a coinflip

Definitely turns a game of skill into one of pure luck. I guess it's fun for the gamblers but if you want to win more than you lose and actually have some control over it I'd not recommend these coin flip tournies.

Thanks for the info on Lock. I might have played there a few years back. I keep saying I don't think online poker is fixed, but I win a lot more live than I do online. Even if pokerstars came back to the US, playing against all the people who use bots and software, it's an uphill battle. Think I'm gonna stick to freerolls for now on, just play for fun online and see if I can build it that way. Yesterday I received an email from BetOnline for a Facebook Friends Freeroll. All you had to do was like their Facebook page and then shoot them an email with a certain subject line. I followed the exact instructions, and they emailed me back saying they don't see my Facebook like, what's your Facebook name? My Facebook name is my actual name you fools! Lol, this just makes it look completely sketchy and like they don't know what they're doing.
