I did. Tried to DL it the other day. Got that message. Closed everything else I had open, then tried again and it worked. Not sure if it was coincidence or finiky, but it's worth a shot.

CLUBWPT DOWNLOAD

Keep trying, there are tons of people downloading since, PS, FT and ub shut out U.S. players. Thier servers are overloaded! I have been with the club for over 3yrs and love it. Note to new players, play alot of point games and build up your point bankroll, then you can play any available tournament anytime you want.

Software is ok, I like the mini view you can play 4 tournaments on one screen without being to small to read.
No limit on number of players or tables (yet). All are tournaments, new one every 15 min. there is 10k, and a wpt seat every month these 2 alone are worth the $20. ( I won a seat and played in Biloxi).

Any games besides NLHE? I am mostly interested in PLO and O8? Is this considered gambling?

Yes on the PLO no O8. There are ultra turbo tournaments. Is not GAMBLING. You win prizes. Just like Pubishers Clearing house. All tournaments basicly turbo, 1000 starting chips, blinds go up every 6 minutes.

$19.95 per/month. There are a lot of complaints about people playing any 2 cards, but the blinds go up every 6 minutes, so you have to build up your chip stack in a hurry, you have to play alot of hands with crap cards. Lots of limping. Sorry, 7500 player limit!

Thanks for the reply. How much in prizes could a good player make here? Would you mind sharing a sample of your 3 year career there?

Do they allow HUDs?

Yeah this is what i worry about as well. I am thinking I will not be able to recoup the $20 monthly fee. Especially since the biggest games play on weekends when I can almost never play at all.

I am not a very good player, but am in the black. I won a 10k WPT seat (played in biloxi 98th out of 214). They give away a 10k seat every month, this alone is worth $20.00 a month. There is also a 10k every month first pays 1k. Total over $100,000 every month. The number of players are going up fast so I am sure the monthly payouts will go up.

If u can`t win back $20 a month u might need to play something other than poker.

Well I want to know if any great players have ever made a good amount of money. I am trying to figure out the potential. If I play in all games say 5 days a week what should I expect to win. They have 20 and 10 dallor games throughout the day but should I expect to cash often in these if I can hold my own on a site like PS while grinding micro? So much varience in MTTs that I just wonder if even good players will have a hard time with the fact that there are not a lot of oportunities.

Hoping to get some feedback from some players that are successful. I guess maybe I will check out some other forums that have more people playing at this site. Worst case scenario I try it out for a month and if I can;t at least break even I will weigh my options after that.

Thanks for the feedback.

I've been playing there for almost 2 weeks. Software is exactly like UB, so I like it. Players are typical freeroll donks. If that kind of thing frustrates you, stay away. But if you are like me and don't mind trying to take chips from players who 4-bet shove KJo in a 3-way PF pot, you can rock it here. The fields are semi-large, depending on the prize. Not sure about the tourney formats, but it seems like the ones I've played turn into shovefests after 2 hours due to the stack-to-blinds ratio and those weren't turbo (which they have).

Kinda sucks that you can't play their normal tourneys for free. Just play chips. I paid the $19.95 a month, but I can cancel if I end up not liking it.

Try Hustler poker, too. They let you play points tourneys for free. If you like, then pay and use those same points for the $$ tourneys. No play chips. A bit smaller fields. My ID there and at WPT is same as here.

EDIT: I've cashed at Hustler, but not WPT yet.

Stick, do you know if you can pay the monthly fee from monies won at either of these subscription based sites?

And at Club WPT how many tables can you play at a time. I know at Hustler I can play at least sevral, but boy, what terrible software. Tables do not size at all.:(

Dunno on that one.

Haven't tried more than 4 on either. Agreed on Hustler. No resizing and I can't drag anything over to my 2nd monitor. But I like the tourney formats enough to endure those other issues.
