I just registered at Club WPT, but have not had the chance to play there yet. I was wondering if anyone else has any experience here, and what your experiences have been like.

Alright...I like this site so far. I placed first in my second MTT, and won a ticket to the nightly $1000 freeroll. Starts tonight in at 9EST. Fairly easy games to beat on this site.

Someone from the boards here actually won a tournament on ClubWPT to play on tv, and then she won that tournament! I can't remember her name, though.

I wonder how those sites work? Can I play a freeroll (I guess, that's what it is for a monthly fee) whenever I want? Or do I have to wait for certain times(like one an hour) and how many people are in those tournaments? (Is it 1,000 to 3,000?) and what prizes do the daily freerolls have?

hey

I'm conisdering joining Club WPT, although reviews are mixed...fairing more towards the bad end. I have tried NLOP and found the ad's to be rather annoying, while the players seemed to be decent to say the least. Are the two sites comparable to eachother??

I joined a month ago and enjoy it so far. I have cashed out about 50 bucks and am looking to make alot more. I hope this site dosent go under I like how it dosent have 24 million people all trying to join a freeroll. 20 a month is way better than dropping 100 and losing it in one hand...

well its been three months and I have cashed out 300 bucks. 20 x 3 months subtracted from 300 is a profit of $240. Every night there is about 4 to 5 thousand peeps playing so its a nice small community. Just how I like it. None of this all in every hand crap. it dosent seem to be dying to me almost every night the number of active players seems to be slowly climbing.

I've played there before... You all play for a monthly fee and have the same opportunities and games open to everyone... Usually MTT..... You can win prizes and possibly come out on the t.v. show.. Club WPT... I'd rather have more options and more games available like pokerstars....

I'm still on WPT. I enjoyed playing on there when I had no money on any other sites. Now that my PS bankroll is up again, I've kind of lost interest.
however I do check for the bigger tourneys. Spadeclub is another one of those sites (they have bigger tourneys)

Mix reviews for the site and I have heard its going under. But its costing $20 a month, so get in now and get whatever you can. Not a bad risk IMO

I downloaded their software because a link offered to let me play there for 1-2 months free to try it out. However, they wanted my cc # to join.
After browsing the site, it looks like you have 250 players playing for a $10 prize pool or 500 players playing for a $50 prize. I don't get to play alot due to work but it kinda seems as if you could just play on the play money tables on any other site and save yourself $20 per month. That was just at a glance.

Worst set up on the net. They reload you every day with a huge stack As a result every player plays every hand and it usually ends up with all the money in the middle.

Usually it's the 94o that wins. EVERY HAND.

This place truly, without equivocation, sucks. :(

Thanks for the update. It looks like you are paying $20 per month to play in the same freerolls that are free on the other sites. They remind me too much of Ultimate Bet.

I been there. Played there. But I did not do the free trial monthly offer. Its not not my type of system. I mean, I prefer not to pay $20 monthly to play where I can play on merge or cake network.

I had the same thoughts. Furthermore, from what I could tell, on WPT you are playing games that are the equvialant to a .10-.25 cent buy in when considering the number of players verses the prize pool. Thanks for the info.

The site is ok. Its good that its easy to win. Withdrew twice after playing for a couple week. The check takes a couple weeks after claimed. You don't need a huge amount to withdraw. I withdrew $20 and $30.

Club WPT Sux

It's the worst poker website ever. For twenty bucks, you get to play in 1,000 player tournaments to hopefully win ten bucks....woohoo!!! And much like the other online poker sites, you see more unrealistic outcomes then you would ever see in person. You can almost count on the guy who has a one outer to win the hand. I think the software is set up for sensationalism. It's set up to make it unbelievable and goes against every odd associated with real poker.

If you like playing for fun and paying for it, then this is your site. I'd recommend you use any other free poker site because the likelihood of actually winning any real money are astronomical. Yea, you'll hear stories about somebody winning a few bucks. But for the hours that you'd need to put into it and the quality of play because nobody is risking any actual money, it's not worth it at all.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Don't really want to play in nothing but freerolls. Just wondering since your going to lose $20 a month guaranteed. It looks like most of the sites are coming back to the US anyway.

I did my free month, I didnt win the years worth of almonds, the tag sunglasses, the zino cigars, the wpt bootcamp and the one prize i really wanted the poker table. I did win $5 and they sent it to me

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT and its something I never really thought of. I was listening to some podcast and the guest was asked about club wpt and they said that the normal average player that is purely recreational can make $100 last about 5 months and so it comes out about the same then if you paid for 5 months of WPT. It made sense, or Im just an easy sell.

Is that assuming that you are not going to get any better, lose every tournament and want to continue to play for hours a day? I'm thinking that you may as well play on some of the cardschat freerolls. It reminds me too much of Ultimate Bet in which I had bad experiences with.

I dont think its worth $20

I have played for 3 months. I just cancelled because I was seeing way to many miracle hands hit. Too many times, I have had 10-24 outs and the other player had 1 and that one out would hit. The allin with rags is very very popular since it isnt for "real" money. Also, I tried to cash out my $70 and they would give me the run around. I sent my verification documents three times. Only when I was going to report them to BBB did they finally get me my funds.
I am going to wait for US to legalize. It is in the current bills to reduce the defict and create jobs, but they wont pass that portion alone and we all know that congress will not approve anything that Obama submits. Especially this close to election time.
