Chico's (BOL/SB) structure steadily declines

For a while now it seems with every new update bet-online changes their structure for the worse. First they dropped 90% of the super micros changing $1&$2 tournaments to $3&$5 tournaments. I dealt with that b/c otherwise the structure did not change. Did not even start playing any less at that point.

Then they started making everything super mega stacks 50,000 starting. However that was just a bit of trickery as they shortened most of the blinds (time wise) and starting bb was anywhere from 500 to 5,000 chips. At this point I began to step away a bit and pick and choose my tournaments more selectively usually late night early morning non turbos.

Well now from what I can tell 90% of their tournaments are turbo PKO tournaments. A combination of my 2 least favorite styles of mtt. If they could somehow throw in unlimited double rebuys and add-ons we could call it a hat-trick. I'm sure if there is a way it's coming next. Not sure where they go from here.

Only normal re-entry I can find are high roller only. Micro reentry tournaments are bad enough as far as barely being worth the time unless you make top 5. PKO tournaments just completely deflate the % of the purse to everyone except the top 3 and really focus it all to #1.


Less people winning $$ means more reloads and I won't even bring up the stable factor. OOPS!

It seems all US facing sites have gone crazy with their structures. Nearly impossible to find re-entry or freezout tournaments with 10 minute blinds or more. At one point not that long ago those are all I played and if I wanted to I could play all day 2 or 3 at a time.

Do they see the writing on the wall. I myself am very surprised with everyone home this last year and as many newbs at the tables (I assume slots too). They haven't figured out a way to take advantage of the situation and stop letting off shore companies with fake licensing make the profits that could easily be going to a local casino group. I thought after the first few states passed it that there would be a domino affect.

Not only would we be keeping the funds local it would be better for the players because these companies would have to be licensed and regulated. Where as now any casino I play at could just say they are keeping all my funds tomorrow and there is really nothing anyone could do about it.

It's really strange with as monetarily based as our political system is their greed can't come through the 1 time I actually want it to. Go figure!

Their user base is abysmal to begin with that I recently stopped playing on there except the CC freerolls.

They're just re-structuring to get more money from existing players and does not care about the lower stake players it seems.

Yes I agree it's been swiftly going down hill since the few US states went legal. I think they assume their time is nearing an end as a major US facing site. As surely other states will soon follow suit.
There is still a couple early morning and late night micro re-entry tournaments left I play in besides CC freerolls. I find the early morning games 5 n 7 am are mostly regs and you don't see as many coin flips and post turn draw calls.

Yea but otherwise I have pretty much given up playing there which sucks because leaves me no where to play.

This obscure site named atlas has a few horse games and a afternoon and evening rebuy I play in now. They are expensive with all rebuy-addon structure. However reason I play there is the players play closer to what you would see in a real game than anywhere else I have played lately. Except card chat league, buy-ins, or late in their freerolls when only decent players left.
