Anyone knows why and when pokerstars in tournements change tables in middle of a game?

To keep the tables balanced.
Simple example, 18 players left so 2 tabels of 9 players.
On 1 table 2 players burst, so now we have 1 table of 9 and 1 table of 7.
To balance this 1 player from the 9-handed table will be moved to the 7-handed table to create 2 tables of 8 players.

That's actually some good information. Do you know whether it picks the players from a given table absolutely randomly or not?
