what do you guys think of this?

I played again at the casino. I folded pre flop and below is what came out.

FLOP: :jc4: :4h4: :2d4:

TURN: :2d4:

WTF!!

It took me a moment to realise but two 2 of diamonds. I am just thinking we played with that pack for around an hour and a half.
My game as well as everybody elses could have gone any way with a proper deck. When the poker guy called a void hand, it recieved a fair bit of anger from the other players.

Anyone else been in a situation like this ?

No I have never came across this situation before in a casino before. I find the best thing to do is ask for a card count or new deck when you sit at a table. All casinos I believe have to comply to a card count if you ask and this could solve your problem. I would have made a big deal about this if I was on the Red for this session, but if you were in the black then just get a new deck.

well before we start they lay all the cards across the table, allowing the whole table to see all the cards and check them. I guess everyone jus missed it.
Either that or some dodgy player brought it along with him

i would definately complain to the casino. YOu won't get anything done about it, but it'd make you feel better.

 Wow. I would have at least asked for the part of my buy-in that I lost. That is absolutely ridiculous! You would hope you could trust the casino. Well, next time the dealer's laying out a new deck, I'll be sure to pay attention!

Wow! Probably just a mistake, but it would be more suspicious if there were two aces of the same suit instead of two deuces.

This didn't happen in a casino, but was funny at any rate.

I played in a charity MTT a few weekends ago and after the first person went out, and about 15 more minutes elapsed it was discovered that that table had been playing with a Pinochle deck...

If you took 2 normal decks of cards and took out all the cards that were 10's and up and combined them, thats a pinochle deck.

hmmm. ic . Isn't that also a "Royal" deck ? or is that without the 10's? ...have you ever played royal poker? I know UB has tables...they have to use more than 1 deck though...so scratch that idea....

Yeah. Once. I wouldn't recommend it. Unless you like throwing your money in a vacuum. :p
