Anybody but me notice a change in the way cards are falling at Noble since the software upgrade? In Saturday's buy-in I counted receiving J-2o 11 times during the tourney which seems strange. Playing the rings at Noble Saturday night (to earn my $10 back) I received 8-4 of hearts 3 out of 4 consecutive hands. Probably wouldn't complain if it was pocket kings, but it does seem strange that the same hands keep falling. Wonder if Noble is having random number generator problems along with the connection problems. I don't want to get into the "is poker rigged" bit, just wondering if anyone else has noticed a change in the way cards come at Noble...

I seem to have a real problem staying connected there, I have a cable modem, and don't have trouble anywhere else, does anyone else have this problem?

Saturday was the first time since the upgrade that cards ran very strange. Getting 8-4 of hearts 3 out of 4 consecutive hands seem to stretch the term random a bit. And I don't know how many hands I played in Saturdays tourney but to get J-2 offsuit 11 times is also a stretch.

'Dook, since you generally get pocket aces or kings every hand I'm sure you haven't noticed. Us mere mortals aren't as fortunate I guess...

i agree with grumbledook,i havent noticed any change with the cards, and Misstrixie i have D/S/L and have >>NEVER<< been disconnected from noble. I was thinking it was the dial-up users that were having trouble, but if you got cable who no`s, but ive never had any problems there or anywhere else.

Why is it that whenever someone notices a "change" (quotation fingers) it's always for the worst. I never hear "Wow, since the upgrade I've hit my flush draw 7 out of 10 times!" or " big slick is just jumping into my hand!"

Probably because no one would complain if they got pocket aces or kings 11 times in a tourney. I still play at Noble, I was just making the comment that the randomness of the cards appeared to be affected by the software changeover. Perhaps the "seeding" system used by the RNG was affected by all the software updates...

Was it really 11, or was it more like 4 or 5?

It could have been 10 as I know I started counting after the third time. As for the 8-4 hearts, this happened 2 consecutive hands, something different, then 8-4 hearts again. Haven't played on Noble since Saturday so I have no recent comments...

They definitely do seem to have problems with their connections, and I do wonder about the cards from time to time. I don't think it's rigged, but man do the 1 and 2 outers come a lot.

I agree with IrishDave kept getting same cards, 1-3 hands was A-2,A-2,A-2,different suits but same cards, found that odd for 3 in a roll. The guy sitting next two me hit 10 times straight, said it was luck,I asked him will you loan me some of your luck! LOL Just felt it was rather weird and strange. My own thoughts.

I don't remember where it was but, I got 10 2 off the other day a bunch of times.

I guess the dealer thinks I am Doyle Brunson. :D

Has anyone emailed support at Noble and asked them if they changed any of their PRNG's along with their upgrades or if it was strictly interface changes? I mean, if they didn't change their RNG program how could there be a difference in card distribution? A simple email from one of their players would be an easy way to answer this question, although I still doubt that they would switch it if it wasn't comprimised (which I'm sure we would have heard about).

my connection there seems to be just fine .. but as for the cards .. i do notice they repeat a lot .. i get stuck with K 4 all the time .. and then on the last free roll i played i must have had a face card paired with a lower off suite card prolly 20-30 hands in a row .. it was weird .. that never happens anywhere else
