Has anyone paid attention to the payout of carbons double or nothing sit-n-go's? If you play in the $1.10 turny, you win 98 cents, does that make any sense? no pun intended. You pay $1.10 for the turny, 10 cents goes for the "fee", leaving one dollar as the buy in. If you win, you get $1.98, two cents short of two bucks, am i the one with poor math skills here?

I do believe those are 10% rake, so actually 11 cents for the fee....at least last I played one probably a month ago.

Well it's .88c, ALMOST double ;), but hey, the chances are so good that you can make the top 5, .88 cents is ok. It's a lot of fun

1.1 buyin is you pay 0.11 for rakes
so 1.1-0.11=0.99 goes to prize pool
if you win you get 1.98
that is doubles the prize pool, did not see any mistake here!

the only problem is rake fee is too high to play 1.1 but for fun that is fine.
PS: I use this to fill in my vip point....if need just 1 or 2 points I would play, there are huge traffic on that game.

LOL

Oh man...

Forgive me for posting in a slightly dated thread, but I have to vent

I HATE Carbons DONs...

The main reason is because at the micro stakes, its all anyone ever plays! Goddamn!

You need to win 2-3 for every one you lose to just break even, and they are so slow and boring, especially when you get to 6-7 players left. Even on the bubble you have a good chance as a short stack, since players will often call you with worse due to the percent chance of ending the freakin game, which has a value of its own.

And 10 players at a table just freaks me out, I dunno about you. Especially when you only stand to win 88 cents for an hour of play.
