Carbon sitouts

Carbon has updated its software to remove players who sit out more than ten minutes in a row. I don't know if it will affect private tourneys, but since it is a software change, you might well expect it to happen.

Love this idea, now if this system was install on bovada I would appreciate it even more since bovada freeroll has a really high percentage of sitter.

As Carbon explained to me, it only applies to cash tables. For the moment anyway.

This is what I figured he had to be referring to via the thread, someone pays to enter a tourney you can't just kick them out....if they chose to sitout and not play a single hand its their choice essentially since they paid to enter same as anyone else.

New update - Sitting out players in Carbon Poker

I did an automatic update on the Carbon Poker software, and I thought it important that this new rule was implemented, as follows:

Your poker software has been updated. The following changes have been applied:

- Sitting out players will be removed from tables after 10mins
...

According to the new rule, the player to stay sit out for 10 minutes will be removed from the table, the same way that Microgaming Network (Redbet, BetMotion, Poker Heaven etc.) is already some time.

Most of the sites use three orbits, so ten minutes for cash games makes sense.
