Carbon Poker "Stars"

I see a lot of people on carbon poker that have 3 gold stars next to their name or 3 silver stars, half a gold star, etc and was wondering what this means. I assume they earned these by winning tourneys, making lots of money or something of the sort but please let me know.

Hey there the about the stars you were writing.For every cash game You play You earn special points. In every poker room they calls differnt but the point is in next.In the begining of the next month pokerroom count s up Your play points and may improove your status also there are a lot of freerolls and satellites in wich You can play for Your points.So than more cashgames than higher is Your status on the pokerroom.Regarding Your status,most of the pokerrooms has special freerolls for players whose status is higher. Last time I checked, they weren't awarding star accolades anymore. They stopped doing so a while back.
