This is probably all my fault but I am having a problem getting registered to Carbon Poker. I put up a similar thread a while back and acted on some suggestions but still can't get registered.

I've snt in the neighborhood of 5 emails to CP Custome Service and have not recieved one reply from them.

A little history.

When I was first registering to some poker sites as a newbie, CP was one of the sites. This is as a computer newbie aslo. The attempst were made without a full understanding of poker and computer lingo at the time.
A couple of attempts were made as 52cards and 52cardsnow as well as with, if I remember correctly, 2 different email addresses. So you can see I probably screwed things up pretty good.

The problem is, as mentioned above, that I can't get an answer from CP Custome service.

If anyone has an idea of something I might put in an email that would help generate a response from them I would really appreciate any input.

In the mean time: Happy Holidays:D :D :icon_sant :icon_sant

CP Help

Hey Roland:

I play on CP freq, but to answer you question have you tried to un-install then re-install CP? if so then try this, send this e-mail https://secure.carbonpoker.com/support.html?faq=connection along with your original user name. I believe you can re-set your password later.

P.S> Gl2u M8;) .

OK got that. Now the situation is that they are asking me for my incoming server (POP3; MAP; or HTTP) and outgoing server server (SMTP). How do I find out what those are? And thanks for the help by the way!

Roland, here is a surefire way to forget this Carbon problem. Download and install pdc.com (Pokerdotcom) it is Carbon's mirror image site. Register under a completely different name than the CARBON name and do it all correctly. You can ALWAYS play Carbon games FROM POKER.COM. Yes it sounds wrong, but it isn't. This way, you have no problems and you're starting form scratch. Remember, your username on pdc.com is your EMAIL ADDRESS, not your screenname. GL

Yes, that's true, but you can't play in the CC games there.

Carbon belongs to the "The Merge Gaming Network". One of the following sites as is good for you. However if i was you I might choose the one pkrplr4116 pick up. At least he plays there and he knows first hand if the site is good or bad.
List:
CarbonPoker PDC Poker Poker Nordica Iron Duke Texas Holdem Golden Arch Poker Rumble Poker Poker City Jam Poker WalkerPoker G2Gpoker Spin32PokerLucky Hog Reefer Poker Wass Poker RPM Poker ACED

PS.The informations about the networking sites traffic ecc can be found at pokerscout

Are you sure about Poker Nordica? It appears their tourney list is different than all the others. I just looked and all but PN have a $59 freeroll.

Just checked PokerNordca site the list is pretty similar to the Carbons' one at least for freerolls:
http://www.pokernordica.com/en/tournaments/freeroll_tournaments.php
You may also want to check here to see the sites that share the merge network:
http://www.mergegaming.com/
Still I would strongly consider the one that pkrplr4116 suggest.

These are the settings to setup an e-mail account. Contact your internet provider or check providers website on how to setup an e-mail account.

Problem solved!!!

This is in reference to my thread about not being able to register on CP. pkr;ly suggested that I go to PDC because it was a mirror image of CP. I had registered a PD when I first started playing on line and my account was still open. I am now gonna whip butt in the free roll. Thanks for the help peeps!
