I tried depositing a few times and Ive had trouble. Then my credit card company told me I shouldnt do it because its sketchy. But I use Bovada so whats the difference. Im tired of not having stats and Im missing an opportunity to get easy info on opponents.

Your credit card company told you Carbon was sketchy?

I cashed out 100 bucks from there a while ago when they forced UK players off the site and that was without a deposit so speaking from experience, I can say that they were and probably still are. :)

I use Carbon and so far they seem on the level, haven't withdrawn anything yet, but I heard they where good about it. I made my initial deposit through Western Union ( because my bank auto rejects any gaming site ) and aside from a small issue ( I filled out the form wrong ) Carbon still credited me and let me play while it was being revised.

Now I do honestly feel there are good and bad things about Carbon overall, first problem I have is the insanely long open reg for tournaments ( 3 and half hours, longest I was in was 5 and half hours ) but this seems to be the norm with most sites. Two there is no logical scale of sng limits ( I think the highest it goes is $11; where as the dng's go to $60; husngs even higher ) as well as no cash heads up options. Three I won a satalite to the nightly $11 that started at 6, my satalite finished at 8 and they threw me in the 6pm ( yea! I get to play off 8 BB's and back in the in the day on stars of you won one those and the nightly one had already started you got put into the next nights tournament. And four, no wsop qualifiers, or live events for that matter, no WPT, no EPT, nothing, nadda, what the hell is that about? For such a tournament focused site, ya know? That's pretty much all the bad stuff that comes to mind.

Now the things the get right, their customer service is 24/7 and they are on the ball with that. Two their monthly promotions are pretty good, with variety and extra bonuses almost every month. Three, there is usually always a full on MTT going on. Either knockouts or rebuys or whatever. I can quite literally play full MTT's all day on there. And four, the have have a free stat tracker as well as a free subscription to drag the bar.

Overall Carbon is a solid alternative for us in the states, but it seems to be all about the MTT's, seriously their cash games rarely have more than 100/200 players across full ring and six max at peak hours. I am honestly thinking about switching to America's Card Room, I heard they surpassed Carbons player pool numbers and they are more versitle. Not that I would close out Carbon, just want to maximize my coverage and time.

I have always enjoyed playing at Carbon; I have heard recently there are rumors that the site might close down though, which is a little scary.

Carbon

I agree that the registration can be a bit long, I like the win percentage when all in, I haven't had a problem depositing through my credit card yet, I have not withdrawn in a while, their policy has changed since my last withdrawal, it is a pleasant site to play at for me. One thing that some might like, is to take some poker profits and bet their favorite team with it, or horse!! That is cool sometimes.

good luck, I look forward to the freeroll today.

If you have Pokerstars available to you, then stick to Stars imo.

Carbon is as legit as any other grey market US open site, but yes, cashout times are long right now.

Lol, well you shouldn't ask your credit card company about that stuff, they would probably any poker site is sketchy. My bank doesn't even know I play poker. But other than than yeah Carbon I heard that take months to pay a check, but i dont think that is unrelated to what your credit company says.

Carbon Poker is NOT Legit

According to forums web wide payouts have been take a minimum of 3 months if not longer since the end of January. I requested a max check withdrawal on the 31st of May and my request has not yet even been processed. Recently they removed their live support and in the last week I have email their support three times and have yet to receive a single response. Avoid this site at all costs, I'm praying that my check gets sent out eventually and who knows how long the rest of my bankroll will take to cash, but good luck to all with money on their because as of now it might as well be play money.

Carbon Poker is Garbage

THIS IS MISINFORMATION. People need to be able to feel safe depositing their money on a poker site and Carbon does not offer that! First their support is NOT decent, they are an absolute joke, in fact they recently took down their live support because they didn't want to continuously explain why players aren't getting their checks in a timely fashion. Recently they will not even response to support inquiries through email. Putting your money on this website is essentially throwing it away. Withdrawing is the furthest thing from easy on this sketchy client, I am now at my 11 week mark waiting for a max withdraw, it has not yet even been processed and their are dozens of other players on the same boat as I. They refuse to give any sort of time frame and it is considered running good if you receive your withdrawal at all. Refrain from this site at all costs unless you're trying to get rid of some money.

Carbon DOES have PROBLEMS

No problems here with Carbon.

Then you must just play there to lose money because since February they have been processing check cash outs in the U.S. in a minimum of 3.5 months while previously claiming it took 2-4 weeks until they recently adjusted to 5-8 weeks even though they have been taking much longer than that! Stop posting for the hell of it, intelligent people like to do research before they invest in something, so I'm just hoping as many future players as possible see this thread and avoid Carbon and hold on to their hard earned cash.
Problem 1: No customer support
Problem 2: Cash outs 4 months average
Those are just the 2 MAJOR problems of course their are many more but if you think those are acceptable, then go right ahead and deposit on carbon gaming. I'm in my 11th week waiting for a check that hasn't even been processed yet, good luck to all.

This is patently false. I recently received a payout in around 2 months myself....

STOP LYING.

4 MONTHS, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? The cashout has been coming down recently, and people are continually getting paid out. I would suggest emailing support for help bc it worked for me, but you have to be prepared to make a few emails.

Average wait times from the update before last (for comparison):
Checks: 91.44 days
Bankwires: 52.27 days
Skrill: 83.5 days

Average wait times from yesterday's update:

Checks (n=90) reported processed and recorded with complete information:
92.86 days

Bankwires (n=10) reported processed and recorded with complete information:
43.20 days

Skrill (n=6) reported processed and recorded with complete information:
81.83 days

A few notes:

These averages are somewhat generous towards Merge in that if a player posts full information up to the process date but does not post the CIH date, I am giving Merge the benefit of the doubt and the benefit of a few days by calculating the time it took until the process date. If I find full information I count the days until CIH.

These wait times are not my prediction for how long cashouts will take if they are requested now or at any time in the future. In fact I make no predictions for how long they will take, although if I did have to guess I wouldn't see a reason to deviate too dramatically above or below these dates. One would need a concrete reason to do that, and I have no concrete reasons of the sort.

In the previous update I had combined the bankwire and skrill reports because the sample sizes were/are small and I figured I'd combine them since they're both supposed to be speedy. I wasn't paying attention at that time to the significant difference in days players were waiting between the two withdrawal methods. So at the top of this post I've separated the two to show what the wait times were for the two individual methods.

The good news is that the average wait time for bankwires has gone down by about 10 days since the last update.

The unfortunate news is that checks and skrills continue to be unacceptably long, with average skrill wait times only having improved by just under 2 days, and average check wait times actually having gone up by 1 day.

Best of luck in all of your pursuits of your well earned cash.

3.5 may be a bit much, but they are still clearly unacceptable time frames for it to get to cash in hand. This is a quote from 2+2 Carbon Poker withdrawal thread. It clearly really hasn't got better, I know there has been a few with relatively fast cash outs for Merge that is.

I have a questions for you:
1. What is your table name at Carbon?

Your profile shows nothing and for me to believe anything you are saying I would like to search the legit of your claim! If your Carbon name is the same as this site I will have to call you a liar too!
All I know about you is that you have 8 posts on this site and 6 of them are complaining of Carbon and 1 for BetOnline.

Now for A2345Razz has information in his profile that I can use to check-on, over 1100 post, active member and been here longer. He also plays at multiple poker sites.

Now who should I believe?
I am not defending Carbon or A2345Razz I just what to know why you are bashing Carbon? ( I do not what hear say, If everybody jumped off a cliff would you?)
You also should have know by May 31 that it was going to take anywhere from 3 to 4 months to get your withdrawal processed?
Right?
There was another person at this site not too long ago that was bashing Carbon and as soon as they got their check, I assume, we have not heard from them and they are still playing on Carbon!!!!

The reason why I'm bashing Carbon is extremely simple for anyone with a bit of self worth or knowledge of business. I will NOT sit back in quiet when there is an entity that is stealing hundreds of peoples money. Yes, they may receive in 4 months or so, but time is money, the crooks at Carbon could literally invest all of our money and make it back in that period of time. If a site claims 2-4 weeks (which it did when I went for a withdrawal) it should take 4 weeks at absolute most. The fact that a2345Razz has over a thousand posts just further proves that he is most likely affiliated with Carbon. What kind of player feels it necessary to post thousands of times in a forum that doesn't even receive very much attention. Realize I am taking my time to write this, I only have the communities best interest at heart. I don't sit quiet and cower down to thieves and cons! As for my username that isn't your business but I will post pictures of my withdrawal request or whatever you like if you question the validity of my claim.

I was aware carbon had issues with payouts, I am not allowed on the site, but would be curious to know if they are still super delayed.
