I have tried talking with their customer support(NO HELP) And even with the support in live chat (Still NO HELP)
So I thought I would come here and see if anyone can help.

I launch Carbon Poker, and open a table, sit down, and not even 5 minutes later Carbon poker freezes, it locks up, I have to shut it down, and start it again. Sometimes it does it right when I sit down, sometimes I can play a few hands. I was able to play 4 SNGS with no problem the other day, so I played 4 more, during the 4 games the client froze, and everytime I reopened it, it froze again and again, cost me 4 buy ins of my bankroll.

I am on windows 7 professional, intel core duo cpu, 2.00 ghz, 4.00 GB RAM, 64 bit operating system.

Any suggestions are accepted, I need to at least build my bankroll to $100 so I can cashout, but I cannot build a bankroll with a client that freezes everytime I join a game

Similar problems are known to affect some bodog users, but I haven`t heard of it happening with Merge (ie. Carbon and sisters). Their software is generally very stable.

Try uninstalling the software. Then reboot the computer, download a fresh installation package from Carbon`s site, then re-install.

If the problem still occurs, shut down all non-essential applications and processes running concurrently with the Carbon software. One of them is likely causing a conflict.

Did the uninstall and re install, it did not help.

Ran the software by itself, it lasted longer, but it eventually crashed...

I love the site, but this problem is causing a big headache, and causing me to lose money,

Yep same problem here. But is not only on Carbon I've tried all other poker sites on Merge network and all of them acting the same.Exactly like you were saying sometimes after 5 minutes sometimes after 1 hour and so on sometimes can not even login.
Maybe is Vista? What's your OS?
Or maybe is just the wireless.I've noticed that before freezing the connection to the server changes colour.

Sorry if the next bit sounds obvious. I do not know how expert a PC user you are. Did you shut down non-essential background processes, using Windows Task Manager, or by editing the startup file in MsConfig ?

A typical Windows installation has several (sometimes dozens) of processes which launch in the background at startup. For example, Skype and other messenging services, virus checkers, etc. One of these may be conflicting with the poker room software.

I just remember having this problem in Carbon with my old PC, they do crash if ever try to run some backgrounds but Pc was very slow and have it XP.

In the Laptop now have Vista and never have a problem in Carbon i do have a block some time back in bodog when make a update and tables just crash in games but the problem was a firewall not the site, software or the Laptop.

Hope you can fix your problems there.

Have a look at your graphic card settings, and try to reduce some
hardware accelerations to the minimum needed...!

This maybe helps...

I just started playing Carbon - now it's my favorite site. Best software in my opinion - plus $200 free roll every 4 hours. Haven't had any tech problems.

Is your OS new? I have read of people having problems when they switch to Windows 7 64 bit. But dont know if that is really an issue.

I had this problem a while back, but boosted up my PC's RAM, closed down other programmes when Carbon was running and turned off animations. It seemed to do the trick.

This is why pokerstars and full tilt are the best sites to go with. Smaller sites are just worse. If party poker allows usa players in the future, they will be a good site too.

^This

Every site I tried on the Merge network gave me horrible freezing problems on my old, cheapo PC. They work just fine now that I added more RAM.

Maybe yes or maybe not. I have 4 GB RAM on my laptop and still have the problem even if I turned down animations and everything else like Yahoo Mess,Skype and MSN.

Just started playing Carbon also. Where do I find those free rolls? Haven't figured out the site yet.
