Does anyone have any insight on this? Moves like this make me feel very uncomfortable. Merge is by far the best place for tournaments, it seems random and really just a lot of speculation on peoples part. I guess there is this blanket statement, but if anything this will hurt customer support not help it.

It was a decision that Carbon management made to streamline and improve their customer support and they aren't leaving because they're upset with TwoPlusTwo in any way.

I have no idea - it could be a number of things. I have heard 2p2 charges quite a bit for the sponsored threads there. Maybe they don't want to pay that anymore.

Maybe a change is in the works and they don't feel like dealing with the posters over there.

Maybe they just don't like 2p2.

Or maybe it is something else altogether.

I do not know what is up with Carbon from a business standpoint, however I don't think its necessarily pro business to side with 2+2. A lot of players are whiny children and can run someone out of the business if one tries to cater to everyone or everything, especially the people who show up on 2+2. I don't blame them honestly. Not a fan of 2+2. Prefer authenticity which is why I careless about them or which sites cater to them.

Not trying to sound bitter or anything, just some people think 2+2 is like the gold standard of forums, and I simply do not think that is 100% the verdict. There is pocketfives, here, and I'm sure a few other different outlets that one could/can take advantage from. My 2 cents. :)
