I generally don't play freerolls on Carbon but I did play in the February Freeroll Fury. Now that it's over, I can't seem to find another freeroll listed. I thought there was a freeroll everyday normally anyway.

Anyone know?

Carbon got rid of these a long time ago, however they have another March freeroll promotion where you have to complete a basic challenge each day to earn an entry into a $500 freeroll the next day. Basically a modified Fury. If you want to build your bankroll from freerolls you should check out the private tab and research how to get involved with those freerolls.

Yes, you need some cash in your account to get started. That counts me out.

I will never go the freeroll way to start a bankroll. I understand why players go that route, but I rather not spend the time grinding that.

I have only deposited when I created a new account when I started at a poker room and fortunately never had to re-deposit.

When I did make the initial deposit, I made sure to use good BRM and play beatable games such as sngs.

I agree. I actually already did it once, on both pokerstars and fulltilt pre black friday.

I got my fulltilt account up to $14 and my pokerstars up to about $11. it was a lot of hard work, and other than the experience, totally NOT worth it.

I'm a person who spends $25 a week on coffee...so yeah....I'm not gonna ever do that again. it took me literally MONTHS of grinding freerolls to do it...and I have pretty decent skills but the variance is so high and the fields are so huge...out of a 6,000 person field even if you're a top 2% in skills you have to win SOOOO many flips, avoid soooo many suckouts, deliver soooo many bad beats. win when you get it in good, win when you get it in bad... invest 4 or 5 or more hours just to win somewhere between $1 and maybe $15 if you're super lucky. It's like winning the main event, except it's full of donkeys. EXHAUSTING (I have a job so this was a few hours a week invested).

Nowadays I deposit my $200 or so on a site when I'm new and clear my bonus. Work my way up till I've doubled my money, withdraw my initial deposit and then never deposit again. This has been working like a charm for years. Still never "spend" any money on the site, though I do initially "risk" something.

How are you doing on Mission freerolls?

How are you guys doing on mission freerolls at Carbon? I'm making it into the $$$ most times I play. Tonight I made it to 19th place, with lots of ups and downs. My mojo would not sit still.

When you get deep into these tourneys like around the final 2 tables, do not limp or play average ordinary hands. It's all in or nothing ...which really isn't that all that hard to play. You just sit and around and wait for the other players to get knocked out, and steal the blinds every once in a while. DailyMission
I got beat when AJo ran into AA in the BBs. Nothing I could do about it, but I still could've folded it pre-flop.

Yep, that's one thing I have to try to do is get looser on final tables. I just hate going all in with mediocre hands...but I know we have to take our chances at that stage of the game. Thanks for the reminder!
