It is strange that they shut it down for maintenance at high tide though. They lost a lot of rake/tournament fees with this maneuver. Why did they really do it? What are they maintaining?
Do you think this may have been a sort of emergency maintenance?
I'm tempted to say that there's no way this was planned/"scheduled" at all. I would be interested in hearing from someone with experience in network/server maintenance in regards to why this would happen on a moment's notice.
I also hate it when sh*t seems shady and calling this scheduled maintenance smells of bullsh*t to me. I'll be interested in seeing what the update says since the status page says that this was an outage (presumably unexpected and not likely scheduled).
