The list of states that are being affected as of now: Louisiana, Washington D.C, Kentucky, New York, Maryland, Missouri,Utah,
New Jersey,Washington,Delaware. One from Maine, but that state not on list, so don't know about his situation. Romania and the
netherlands for other countries. Nevada should be, but so far not on the list. I know a lot of you members are thinking, yea, we all know that, but you might not know Carbon is blocking the players that signed up to their site before all the crap pre- 2006, and the "grandfathered" players too. They are really going about this slowly, so it seems as if some players have escaped the axe, but i am sure they will get to all. You know they wouldn't want to cause a stampede of players to start cashing out and leave. What has me really puzzled, is Nevada hasn't been blocked yet, and for those not familiar with the law, any state that has an online operation must be licensed in that state, therefore any sites like Carbon, who obviously isn't licensed anywhere in the U.S., would be committing a crime, by providing a gaming service to the residents of Nevada. That is why Carbon has blocked residents of New Jersey, and Delaware. The rest of the states affected have either an existing law prohibiting, or banning online gaming, have vague laws regarding gaming, or, have done extremely stupid things like my state, going after 141 domains, by our former governor Steve Beshear, and losing of course. I knew it was coming , 3 months ago, and i have posts out there 3 months ago to attest to this, so i cleaned out my account and left 6 cents and 66 points in my account. Wouldn't be teed off if the low lifes would have at least gave us a courtesy notice, instead of logging on and get that "log in attempt failed, please try again at a later date" And of course, everyone knows all about the email thing, forget it. Everyone that has been blocked was done the same way, get the message after trying to log in.
