Carbon has another site close down

Got a message this AM that PDC Poker will be shutting down! Now I'm worried! One of the largest skin within merge I thought?

We would firstly like to thank you very much for your time and loyalty at PDC Poker. However, as of Tuesday, December 11th @ 7:00 PM EST PDC Poker will be shutting down and migrating to Aced.com. Your account will be safely and securely transitioned to Aced, which we are excited to inform you will be your new home for poker and online gaming.

This migration should only take up to 5 hours and you will be able to login to your account at that point.

There will not be any change to your username or password, so you will be able to login with the exact same details you were using at PDC Poker.

PDC was not the largest on the Merge network and they are just moving their accounts over to Aced. This has happened quite a few times with many of the smaller skins on Merge(just look at how many there are http://www.mergegaming.com/partners.html). Carbon is by far Merge's biggest skin with BCP and Lock leaving. There are other reasons to be skeptical of Merge, but I wouldn't say this is one.

I knew when I lost everything I touched on pdc last weekend that something had to be up. lol

pdc poker was the first merge site, well it was called poker.com but the name changed. so im shocked that the original merge site is going under uhhhhhhhhh y cant all the goverments let the people play poker wherever u live, would call it a free country but thats not true anymore. it annoys me that the goverment ruin everything that is good in the world

This is really not surprising or any reason for concern - they are bascially just merging 2 sites.

I agree with dakota, just little sites getting bigger. Its easier to maintain one location than many.

The Carbon Poker skins own PDC and Aced anyway. So no big deal. Hardly anyone even knows about PDC anyway, and Aced is probably right behind them. They might as well close down Aced and move everyone to Carbon. Or just leave them open, why create a mess by closing a site down like that. Maybe need to save some administration costs I'm guessing
