Anyone else having this problem or know of a fix for it? I'm an IT Technician so I'm fairly computer literate.

anyway heres the error, I've download the software and when I attempt to run the exe this comes up:

>setupnew\setup.cpp (135)
PAPP:
PVENDOR:
PGUID:
$
@Windows XP Service Pack 3 (2600) NonIE/Netscape11.0

I've downloaded it on my other computer, works fine. Trying to put it onto my laptop. I've done all my MS Security and service pack updates and re-downloaded the file several times. Any suggestions :) ? Thanks in advance.

My only suggestion would be to contact Full Tilt. Might take a little while for a response, so in your first email to them I would give as much info about your computer setup as possible. The more information they have at the beginning the better their response will be.

Sometimes you need re- installed all the program (full tilt), i suggest delete the carpet and all the stuff of full tilt and re-installed all the game with the .exe, GL

Full tilt windows xp service error

:confused:

I had the following error while trying loading full tilt

:eek:

>setupnew\setup.cpp (135)
PAPP:
PVENDOR:
PGUID:
$
@Windows XP Service Pack 3 (2600) NonIE/Netscape11.0

:D

I found that in the windows catalog they have the download for this. Just search xp service pack 3. They also have just the xp update on the same page that has worked great for me as a refresher for my pc.

Before I upgraded my Commodore 64, it gave me the same problem. You need to toss in a new water cooled, Tri-Quad Core mother board and loose the 1200 Baud as well. That should take care of the problem.

If it were me I'd delete the Full Tilt folder in Program Files, then try reinstalling again.

Keep the antivirus off during the install.

It's referencing Internet Explorer. You might also want to try uninstalling IE8 and seeing if that makes a difference (it'll downgrade IE to the previous version, probably 7, but you probably already know that).

I had the same problem with another poker site...Absolute but never with full tilt. I never figured out how to solve the problem of downloading the site.

i can the same problem i think you need a update on your computer after i downloaded and installed a new windows update i was able to download full tilt poker and pokerstars it would say that i didnt have enough memory but clearly i had enough. Once again it's probably you dont have an update that is crucial for the downloading of full tilt poker hope this helps.

Okay I had that SAME error and I found a fix. This is the post to read.

#1 - Run Internet Explorer instead of FireFox. Don't worry its just this once.

#2 - Go to the Full Tilt Poker website and click on the download link

#3 - Instead of saving as and that whole bit, just click on "Run" instead

#4 - Wait for it to download and run. it'll work.

I had the same error on my laptop. Fix was just to delete some of the raft of crap that was sitting on the hard drive. Even though "apparently" I had lots of free HD space, I didnt.

I also had the same error message... I downloaded Safari and used that to download the full tilt client and had no problems :)
