Quick Yes/No question...

Just played a 10FPP tourney and automatically qualified for an $11 buy-in tournament. The e-mails says that I can unregister and receive $11 in tournamant dollars. As I think that I can finish well in these particular qualification tourneys again, my question is if I qualify again will Stars automatically credit me $11 tourney dollars?

(It seems a pretty good deal for me 10FPP tourney - about 275 play and top 36 get entries - and I have a few hundred FPPs.)

Each time you play in a satellite that has an entry fee of FPPs and you unregister, you will get T$. You can then use your T$ to enter a regular tourney or SNG. If you win you get cash.

Yeah you can keep piling up the T$ and even sell it at about 99% of its worth for real money... or just play SNGs or MTTs.

is this the uk $50k tournament?

I've qualified, but wasnt sure if I could play in more and as you say get more $11 tc

I agree with you it's great value, but can you earn more than one and get the tc?

Almost found out tonight for sure - finished 38th though, two short - another attempt tomorrow

In case you were wondering AQs called by big blind 62o was my chosen exit strategy after being card dead for 40 minutes.

As far as I know most tournaments operate on the basis that you can unregister and take the $T. The exception that I know of is the EPT. I think you need to play this and cannot unregister.

Agree about the EPT. Winning a freeroll or FPP appears to be a direct entry to the weekly event which cannot be bought directly into. So it's different from the $50K in that respect.

similar thing happened to me (almost)
KK AI from utg, about 4x BB, Chip Leader with 20x BB shoves, all folds.
KK vs 69s. Flop goes 57Q rainbow. Turn is an 8. Of Course.

where's Phil Hellmuth when you needed him? Bring him in
for his choice words.

A new despatch from your FPP warrior at the front line: "It's all true. After finished in top 18 in the UK 50K fr, T$ 11 magically appears bottom left in the cashier window. I had my fair share of good hands but the crucial one was some funky blind on blind action"

Here it is in short form. 30K in stack; bid blind slightly less. Blinds 300/600, 74s in small blind so I just complete it. Flop 356 rainbow. OMG how do I play it. Put out a little bet, other guy triples my bet. Figure he is hooked, I reckon he has trips or 74 so I raise and then we are all in. Shows 42o, and the rest as they say was easy.:)

Actually, I think it has been experimentally proved that the second entry becomes T$ so this thread can definitely be closed now.

QED.

Any time you are already entered into a tourney, and you qualify through any type of satellite into the same tourney, PS will just deposit x amount of T$ into your account.
