Usually a Cake private game is listed unless they pull it off for lack of registrants....I do not know if you can track it by ID #...what site are you getting the game info on?...I would like to take a look.....

I think that is the defect of cakepoker.I looked for a tourney once. Its not easy enough. You should also check the game filter.
Still,I like cake poker.In general,its frendly.

There are a ton of features lacking in cake and basically any poker room that isn't full tilt of poker stars. I don't know why innovation is that slow. The only thing I like about cake than full tilt or poker stars is that the traffic is much lower, and there's less scrolling when finding games, lol. They did finally add a tournament filter to find games easier, but it's so lame that they list stud as a game for like forever, but still haven't added the game yet. Unfortunately, you can't use the keyword search in the filter to type in a tourney id :( Seems like they totally ripped poker stars on the filter, lol. Also, the rewards program cake has kind of sucks now. They made it so that they don't take anymore deductions from rake back, but it's twice as slow to get the FPPs required to clear bonuses. Also, you get twice as less gold chips now. I only play on cake because I won freeroll money in there. However, if anyone is a fan of the Everleaf poker network, I highly recommend cake, simply because there are more games, more people, and more fundamental features. Also, Everleaf rakes an arm and a leg in ring games.

The thing to check would definatly be the filter on cake.
I had problems at first finding certain private tournaments but then I checked the filter and it came right up.
