I'm looking for a site to play real money on and my options are a little limited. I don't want to play at any sites ive made accounts at for play money before because i did it when i was under 18 at most of them and just made up a birth date. I want a fully legit account where its made when im of legal age and is the only account.

I've been looking at these sites and they seem highly ranked but i dont understand how they work. They have the exact same promotions with the gold cards and coins, and i know players only is a skin of cake but im not sure what that means.

They have different deposit methods and cake seems to have a lot more. Are the players on each site playing together or are they playing with only the people registered on that site?

Picture in you mind a 'Table in the round'. It is in a big round building. The building has many doors. Above each door will be a sign telling you who is operating that door.

In the Cake example, you would also find Players Only, Sportsbook, and a few other less familiar names.

You can enter that building through any door you have register at. You can register at more than one door, but you can never enter through more than one door per session. Once inside you will find a table and sit down to play with players who may have entered that building through any of the doors.

You will be reminded of which door you came in by the logo on the table. Other players at that table will likely have entered via a different door and will see different logos on their screens.

Occasionally, very rarely, there will be an event that can only be entered via a particular door, but for the most part, who operates each door is separate from who is operating the games.

"ah, reason I asked was, as you're probably fully aware, you're limited to where you can play.
I know some good sites, but US-friendly they aint!"

I have a SportsBook account, which is another Cake skin. It's alright, I do pretty well in their cash games but for some reason run much worse in their tourneys than I do at pokerstars. I do like their deposit options, they're the only US site I'm aware of that takes most US credit cards. And if you like to bet other sports, you can do it all from the same account AFAIK. I just use it for poker, though.

I too have a SportsBook account. I like the site and have cashed out for a decent amount of money based on what I have deposited. However, I have been on a temporary poker hiatus as I went on the worst run of my life to lose my whole account. I was even playing within my bankroll.

The only thing about Cake is that if you like to play the occasional freeroll, they do not really have many of them. However the ones they do are usually qualifiers for bigger tournies with some pretty good prizes.

Hopefully I can make some money in Vegas so I can get back to playing some online poker.
