The bad rap and reputation that AP and UB suffered and it is happening at other places. Too bad.

Not quite the same as AP/UB - but equally as (more?) idiotic, given that this is pretty much the same as the most recent problem that hit Cereus, you'd think Cake and every other site would have checked their security protocols...

I was playing at a cake site last night, .02/.04 ring game. I usually do OK in micro ring games. I bought in with $2 and proceeded to lose that and bought back in for another $2. I played for about 2 hours and couldn't seem to get anything to work. The entire time at this table there were 9 players and at least one person every hand bet the pot pre flop. I didn't think too much of it and should have paid more attention as all of a sudden, every player except for myself, left the table all at the same time.

Weird huh?

AMAZING. YOU GUYS ARE MAKING SURE ALL THE SITES ARE SECURE WHILE KILLING ALL THE ACTION AT THE SAME TIME. THANKS!

Where's the BIG deal like UB and AP ??????
ALL info you could grab off of Cake, anyone's whole cards, Password and all info.
If CC has ANY games on the Cake Network they should dump them to, seeing this problem has been there longer then UB or AP.....

Well, I agree with you that this is bad - see my post above - corporate stupidity is never good to see (I certainly hope EVERY reputable site has checked their security protocols by now, they should have when Cerus got outed most recently - corporate stupidity is not rare, though, so...). I don't think it'd be a bad idea to email sites you play on and ask them whether they've done due diligence in light of the PTR outings of Cereus and Cake.

I don't play on cake, never have, never planned to - so my level of outrage is lower (I played very low volume on UB for a long time, no longer). In addition, I'm not aware of any huge problems/scandals/etc. on cake prior to this - UB/AP/Cereus had serious problems before their security problem was outed).

CC doesn't have any games on cake, so meh.
