Hello,
I am going to buy in for a small amount on either Lock or Cake Poker. Any opinions on which site is better for withdrawals and customer support, along with the overall feel of the room?

cake poker got super support usually get answer within 15 mins or so i believe. i cant say any about the withdraw tho since im not in the US. but there is more promos and such to get at cake poker imo. lock poker support got alot better to i have emailed with them these days and reply was indeed acceptable.

only good things to say about cake. beside the software scks but nothing new.
i like using the old software instead.

intertops by FAR!!!! (on the same network as Lock and Cake)
If you haven't considered Intertops Poker, you definitely should. They have their own cashier and are not shady like some sites. Lower minimums for cashouts too. They also have live agents that you can talk to if you have any questions.

Here is the site with their deposit/withdraw options. You can also click the 'Live Help' button and talk to someone instantly!:

https://www.intertops.eu/template/clientframe.htm?itag=cake&context=pk&lan=en

I have deposited and made a withdrawal from them, both hassle free (you do have to send in your documents in order to be able to withdraw though, like on most poker sites)

I would say lock. If nothing else it is the first of the month and their rake race promo just started.

If you plan on winning money and then withdrawing it stay away from Lock.

why?? i cashed with lock and it only took like 10 days Western Union and they cleared my docs in like 24 hours, best experience i have had with any website. It is super lame if you have any problems though because their support is basically non-existent

Errrr.... Intertops... but they closed their doors to the US... honestly... Cake... Their response times are amazing for questions and problems... usually within an hour!... Too bad Intertops does not accept new US players... they have live 24/7 chat as well as phone support too!!!

I like bovada as well and I've gotten every payout that I've requested within a couple weeks by check with no hassle or minimum amounts.

Cake for sure. I have had numerous cash outs and received them in a timely manor. Great customer service too!

Min is $500, but I would never take out less than $500 anyways, so it's not a problem.

As I have mentioned many times before, you can bypass the Cake Withdrawal system, and any fees and minimum, by using one of several transfer threads which trade your Cake money, for either cash on another site, cash in your bank account, cash on a GreenDot or NetSpend card.

You just have to be very careful and read rules, and research the person you transfer with...

(Note: to get money off Cake you may have to pay a vig depending on the trader and how quickly you need money)

Lock poker is better than cake in my opinion. They have a better loyalty program and support. Check out the merge network too: carbon aced or pdc.

Bovada is a great room and I also recommend to try it but if we are talking about Lock and Cake then I don't see any difference between these skins (not separate rooms cause they both are in Revolution network).

Lockpoker seems to be more active in promotions but Cake is also good at support and withdrawals.

I would rather wait 5 months for a check for the full amount, rather than receiving .60 on the dollar.

No where, even for Lock (currently the highest vig) gets only 60 cents on the dollar.

.80 on the dollar is about the lowest figure. The going amount for Cake Poker seems to be about .85 but if you are patient you can work and get much better deals. I would probably be able to trade getting 100 cents on the dollar only because of my long-time membership and activity in the trading thread. (I saw an even trade Cake-Carbon today)

Cake is more thinly traded though, with many more trades involving Lock, and popular Merge skins Carbon, BCP so it might take a couple days/week or so to get done.
