I recently downloaded software for Cake, bodog, and Carbon poker sites. I made a rakeback account on all 3 and am now trying to decide which site to deposit at. I was originally going to deposit at all 3, but now I feel like I should just stick to one. I currently play .25/.50 at FullTilt and multi-table 6-8 tables at a time. I started with $200 at FT and now have $1,000, but $200 of that was from the 100% deposit bonus and another $600-700 has been from rakeback. I've played about 60k hands over the last 50 or so days.

Now that you have my background, which site would be best for playing .25/.50? I don't really play on moving up in stakes and I plan on staying at FullTilt, but I have heard that other sites are sometimes softer than FT and I figure it couldn't hurt to take advantage of some of the 1st time deposit bonuses that some of these sites offer.

I have not downloaded pokerstars, but this is because I don't like that they have no rakeback. As you can see in the first paragraph I have made a majority of my money by being a break-even player and gaining the rakeback. I play poker mostly for fun, but (like everyone else) I wouldn't mind making an extra $100-200 a month..

(I'm a US player and am also open to the idea of downloading software for a site that I have not mentioned)

Consideration for each site would include how easy it is to clear their deposit bonuses, if they run some sort of VIP program that has advantages for players that play often, whether or not they offer a store with products that would be attainable by playing .25/.50, and how soft the .25/.50 tables are.

Thanks in advance!

If you are getting rakeback you may be excluded from VIP programs - or be "penalized" on your rake when you use points to make purchases.

Listen, if your happy playing low stakes then its a great idea to have more than one site. Each one will offer different tourneys, styles, opposition etc. Plus if you go broke on one site your not broke , if you know what I mean? lol.
I recently asked a similar Q about reloading on Tilt or depositing on Stars. I was convinced to try both and its excellent knowing I have a choice. If your concerned about not clearing your joining bonus on any or all of the sites, then deposit minimum, around $50. If your a sensible grinder then you should have no problems, I cleared my $50 Tilt bonus in days, and most sites give you months! Very best of luck anyway.

Any1 of those sites would be a good choice to play at. They are all somewhat "soft" (weaker kind of players) but can be frustrating at times as well.

I only have experience with Bodog of the sites you listed but something that may sway your decision is that you can NOT play more than 4 tables at Bodog so putting in a large number of hands there can be pretty time consuming. That said, I think the level of play there is miles below FT.

Risk at other sites

A year or so ago, I played at PokerDreams and ended up losing my bank roll, not because of playing cards but because they went belly up and did not pay back peoples deposits. We could still play, with whatever money was in remaining in our account but it was more like play money as you could not get any out. Kind of made me leary of any sites other than FT, poker stars, or maybe Players ONly which seems to be growing. How good has Bodog, Cake Poker, and Carbon been at actually paying out?
