SportsBetting today raised rakes by 6.67 percent, eliminated all s&g games under $1.50 buyin, and eliminated nearly all humanly-paced games.

I make a profit on poker, which is extremely difficult with rake of 10 percent. I keep track of the players around me and about 10 percent of us appear to be in the black. For 90 percent of the players, losing money is ok and they are fine with losing even more. Not me. I have to move on.

I live in the USA outside of NJ. I'm disabled and I cannot play turbo games because I can't play that fast. Are there any poker rooms out there with 10 percent rake on s&g and the pace of the games is slow enough that you don't have to have a bot to play?

Thanks, but

Ignition - anonymous tables. No way to know who you are playing against without a bot that can identify players I don't use bots.

ACR - no s&g with standard poker rules. All their s&g has wildcards and crap.

My ROI is under 1 percent at 10 percent rake on 10p s&g across buyins from $0.10 to $10.00. At the new rakes and table size, my ROI will drop well below 0 percent (ie operating at a loss) unless droves of trumps stumble onto the site, which has never happened.

How would a bot help you identify players?
Are you confusing HUDs and bots?
If so, rest assured that HUDs don't help you identify players on Ignition / Bovada / bodog. That network appeals to players who don't use HUDs, since even the HUDs that work there can only gather information from the current game.

What makes you think all ACR/BCP S&Gs have "wildcards and crap"?
ACR has been promoting their new "SNG 2.0" games. But they still have conventional SNGs, at 10% rake for "regular" speed.
Before depositing, you can create an account there, open a lobby for a running S&G, and click "observe table" if you'd like to watch a game first.

Be aware that the player pool at ACR/BCP is much tougher than the BOL / SportsBetting player pool. Ignition / Bovada / Bodog's player pool is softer.

Intertops's SNG traffic is minimal and its rake is above 10%.

I haven't played Carbon / SportsBook since they became slow payers and started kicking off winning players. Do they still charge for withdrawals too?

Generally US players are best to stick with these sites:

Americas Cardroom has free roll on demand one after the other all day every day, top prize is only $2.50 but they have $0.55 games with a $25.00 pot and last night I played a $1000.00 GTD. for a $0.55 placed 161 over a bad beat and won a dollar,
top prize is usually between 20% to 50% total prize pool. Ignition has a $1000.00 free roll once a month. I've tried Ignition out and I am not a happy poker player there. feels a little shady, I never use a HUD or anything like that. I just play my hands. I usually do pretty good, I won a $20.00 Tourney at Ignition but lost it.
Bet online is another option for you. not sure about the rake though, but bots are
really becoming a problem everywhere. I would never use a bot and feel that bots for a gambling game should be against the law, I also feel any Casino's caught using bots should be fined um to 1 mil. and any person visiting an online site with a bot gets up to 5 yrs. in a Federal Prison. but enough of that.
I hope you find what you prefer in an online casino. lets us know what you chose.
Peace and Happy Bank Rolling"

Alas, I see the same thing in TigerGaming (this is one network).

I recently searched for low rake micro stakes sites. They all seemed to be 5% uncapped. Have they capped the rake with the increase? This could actually translate to lower rake on the big pots.

Not sure what a HUD is, but whatever it is, I don't know. Bots can do lots of different things. You're probably thinking of bots that play the hand for you. I'm talking about a bot that can tell by various cues who that person is, and it will distinguish between two or more people playing on the same account at different times.

Your response on ACR is most helpful. When I went on their site to find out the details on the games they offer, the only SnG offering was this thing where they play with 55-card decks. There was nothing I could find on their site that describes what you've disclosed.

And I prefer better opponents. I win more. Thanks, Mr. The Owl.

Carbon payed me last year within a month. 500 dollar minimum to withdraw, no fee for a check like 2 or 4 times a year, no SNG's under $1.50 anymore.

5Dimes is now completely offline. BOL/SBP have eliminated their popular low limit micro games and increased fees on SnG's above 10%. They have eliminated $300 worth of the freerolls. ACR continues to have glitches they blame the players for. Ignition poker cheated me on my initial signup bonuses and I do not trust them at all.

Greed and dishonesty seem to be the primary driving forces in the online poker industry. Proceed with extreme caution, folks. They are the hungry wolves and we are the sheep.

God bless and good luck. :( :questionm
